Wagonless

Post by israelstanage » Thu Mar 29, 2018 9:35 pm

After 2 years, 8 months, and 115,000 miles I got sick of the MPG and traded my wagon in for a Cummins. My head immediately grew 4 sizes, my hat bill straightened, and my dick shrunk. The front end weighs a billion pounds, operates like a u boat in the mud, and I had to trim plastic before I took it off the lot to fit my tires/wheels. But hey, MPG is nice.

I plan on continuing to creep around here and fondly reminisce on my days in the winch mob. Maybe at some point I'll sack up and get a real truck again.

Just add a bunch of Thuren or Carli goodies and turn it into a boogie wagon.

PS: I got an email about dick enlargement pills that might help.

How is you fuel economy now? If you’re into suffocating baby penguins you can delete it and get Camry level economy.

It's reading 14, but I didn't get my new procal until today, so everything was off. Resetting it tomorrow and will have a idea in a few days. I was getting 10 on my wagon.

well i don't think my peter shrunk but i too was in for a rude awakening with the heavy front end. but when i've got 14,000# of of cattle on the back my peter increases in length substantially. no artificial enhancement required.

My '12 CTD mega cab and '14 Power Wagon with MDS get about the same unloaded fuel mileage. Since diesel fuel is more expensive than gas here, it is slightly more expensive to run the CTD. I may never sell the CTD though, as 2012 was that last year without Def.

The super heavy front end on the CTD is its biggest issue when you're not on pavement.

Found a pic of your truck. All about that stance bro!

Now all you need is a set of knock-off Oakley's, vape-pen, change your name to Chad or Justin, the cheapest and tallest lift you can find, budget mud-tires and remember to keep your tow-mirrors out at all times.

Oh yeah, and a pair of these for even more compensation:

I was getting under 10 MPG the last 6 months or so. Highway speed limits are 75 where I'm from, and the 6.4 isn't super efficient running 83 mph. At least with 37s. Running 37s on the new ctd and getting 15 MPG thus far.

I get 13 to 14 MPG. Legally speaking, you can drive slower than the speed limit. It doesn't make you a bad person either.

Not on a 4 lane road. It does on a 2 lane road.

Did you have the tire size corrected in the truck's computer, or did it still think you were on factory 33"s?

I don’t blame you for unloading it... If mine got that kind of fuel mileage, I would have dumped it in the first month.

 Don't you guys know that the words "Power Wagon" and "fuel economy/mpg's" are not supposed to be used together in the same sentence or paragraph or conversation ?

It's an oxymoron.

I get 8-10, or less. Empty, loaded, towing, it don't matter-my truck don't give a fuck. 8-10 or less is it, period. To make matters worse, my overhead computers mpg is ALWAYS dead on. I keep switching it to compass/thermometer but it seems that every time i look away, it goes back magically to mpg---just to spite me !

My mileage on heavy 35s is atrocious. My odometer isn’t corrected for tire size, so I’m sitting somewhere marginally better than 10-11 mpg. I work in oil and gas, so I just consider it my investment in job security.

Ever since I corrected my computer for 35’s mine shows averaging 16mpg for a round trip to work and back which is about 180 miles. About 1/3 of it is close to sea level, which helps, and with no traffic it can creep closer to 18mpg. I set the cruise control at the speed limit, 65, don’t need any tickets and every cent counts here with Gov. Brown’s rising gas prices. :cash:
