What shocks for a factory height 2015 PW?

Post by Ed1774 » Sat Mar 17, 2018 1:22 pm

I'm wanting to do some upgrades to my 2015 to get it ready for some upcoming adventures. Any feedback on what is a good replacement for the factory shocks? The truck is running stock suspension. How about the steering stabilizer, any thoughts?

I also plan on doing the following:

Carli front diff guard.
AEV rear diff cover.
Upgrade to the current black PW rims.
New tires. Same as Toyo's in sig.
tonneu cover.

I may also put on some sliders but I'm on fence for those. I planning a Moab trip with a friend for this September but I'm not convinced I need sliders if I stick to some tamer trails. Any feedback?

Pick from that list.

You don’t need sliders on the tamer trails, take your time and have a spotter guide you.

Thanks DamageWagon for the link. I looked at Don's stuff before but they all say to use with his springs only. I'm running stock.

Looking forward to Moab. It's a long drive to get there but should be worth it. Where I'm from we have zero good spots to wheel so it should be an awesome trip. Thinking of swinging down into Colorado on the way to do Engineer Pass then cut over to Moab.
