So backed into a tree on a slightly less than improved road. (Map said "draw" creek bottom would be more accurate.) Broke an LED tailght.
Looking at aftermarket, there are limited options for OEM taillights for factory LED trucks. Any experience or recommendations?
Also, I don't like the fake chrome on the headlights, I could go to OEM black (like on SLTs) but if replacing, is there a better lighting solution?
THanks

Re: Aftermarket Lights
I had a set of aftermarket LED tail lamps on my 1500, and they never were quite as nice as the factory LED's on my Laramie here. The big problem especially was that in the daytime, the aftermarket ones looked like I was standing on the brakes all the time.
I'd check out 1A Auto, they sell some OEM and some OEM "LIKE" replacements.
Most of the aftermarket headlamps aren't going to be better than the factory projectors. The real lighting upgrades come with replacing the factory projectors with something like Morimoto FX-R's.
