Anyone running an aftermarket cam? If so how well is your truck performing? Looking at doing the Comp Cams 266 Cam sometime by the end of the year. Wouldn't mind having the fastest Power Wagon in Cali :D

Yes sir! Just to be safe I'm getting some astronaut diapers for the post install test drive though lol. Cnc heads vvt cam and long tubes ought to be feel pretty damn fast with 5.13's and my high stall converter.

That's going to be pretty sick. Are you running a 3rd gen or a 4th gen? I know the 4th gens have the "Apache" head on the 5.7s and they supposedly flow really well for a stock head. I was told that the cost to benefit ratio of porting the heads on my 2013 wouldnt be all that good if I just run a mild to moderate street cam unless I wanted to do forced induction at some point.

3rd gen with a 4th gen motor, so yes it's apache heads. I'm going to do a fairly aggressive cam and long tube headers so I figured why not lol. There will be a loping idle and I'll loose a little low end torque, but it'll scream up high which is where I tend to play
