Any leaking from the pan? Looks like it took a good hit.

Filter damage inside?

Would be a good time to have a drain plug....but we don't.

Wonder if a Mag-Hytec would have cracked....or chipped the rock.

Definitely want to drop the pan and see if anything was damaged inside, an aftermarket cast aluminum pan would have cracked I bet.

I've done the same thing, which is why I won't run a cast pan until I get around to skid plating that area. Just drill a small hole to drain it and either bang that pan back into shape and put a drain plug bung where you drilled the hole or get a new pan. If you've smacked it once you'll smack it again.

I think the term is "Every now and then, you just gotta 'bang' one out!"

Pounding it out isn't as fun as hammering it out. You gotta really get in there and go at it.
