Anyone have their AC stop working/not come on??

AC was working fine when I parked it yesterday in drive......got in my truck this morning , 2016 Tradesman PW and the AC wont come on, no blower, dont even hear it clicking on and off? The yellow lights on the knobs come on for vent closed, and AC but no worky?? I looked at a fuse, but dont know if correct one. Dealer cant look at till Tuesday AM. Of course gonna be hot in AZ this weekend

Dose sound like a fuse, maybe there is more then one for the the A/C to work. Anything in the message log screen on the dash board?

Yeah thanks! I checked the fuses, at least as much as I could. Switched a few back and forth on any related to AC or Blower and nothing? Didnt see any messages on dash. Looks like Clutch on AC is engaging? but no fan ?? Looking at connections I can see dont see any unplugged or loose?

luckily dont have to drive it much this weekend

Well I am guessing you the the 8.1 radio and you have tried the controls on it for the A/C as well the dial. You said the blower is not working for heat or A/C and if the compressor is kicking on I guess it just leaves you a bad control board which sucks long weekend and no A/C.

I don't know where they hid the fan resistor on the new ones. It used to be on the bottom of the plenum in the cab on the 3 gens. Check it if you can find it.

Some control module in my '05 went out causing same problem. I think around $500 back then. You should be under warranty I hope.

Thanks Guys, looked at everything I could, dropped it off at the dealer this morning. See what they find. I couldnt seen any fuses blown and switched fuses and relays back and forth on anything to do with fan/HVAC, didnt come on.....

I think he mentioned in another thread it is at the dealer and needed a blower motor.

Yeah, sorry didnt update, it was in the shop all last week, it needed a new Blower motor, that only took a day, then was in the rest of week for Trans recall, they had to wait on parts for that. Was in rental 1500 all week. Trans seems to shift better now though?

Yeah I had it for almost a week. I think they see it as a safety recall so they dont want to make any waves.

I Seemed to have it when on the highway when in 6th with the grannies kicked in and then you give some gas to pass and it would hesitate a little and vibrate before kicking down. Just in the little I have driven it since they did recall it seems to me that it kicks down with less hesitation?? will see how it goes but I think it fixed it some....

Yes, you explained it well. Mine seems to have a bit of a shake when lugging in 6th (just before it wants to downshift). Also seems to do that when going really slow, in say, 2nd gear (just before it needs to downshift). I would love for that shit to go away
