cat replacement

I was wondering if anyone has had to change their cats out yet? I need to replace mine and was looking at some of the thunderbolt high flow cats. Any suggestions or advice not looking to spend a ton of money on it.

I need a new front pipe with the cats. I can not buy anything in NY except factory part-----@ $900+ dollars !!! :angry: I am waiting as long as possible.

They would not even accept my truck on a trade in if i removed the cats & 02 sensors ! Gotta love NY.

That's almost every state. Can't mess with the emissions equipment. If I sell my Nismo. I would have to put some stuff back on.

Rockauto has cats for $279 you could have them installed at a local shop not cheap but better than the dealer. Magnaflow also sells them you would need 2.5" input/output to match the factory pipes.

I ended buying the magnaflow kit comes with everything from manifolds back to the y pipe 400 bucks on ebay

I wish it was that easy for me. They won't be legal in NY. Has to be OEM till after the cat.

Yup, $295.79 on rockauto . com. But i can't use that one. I have to use the $870.40 one, to be legal in NY.
