Dana 60 axle shaft diameter - 35.8mm, 1.41", Spline count 32, ring gear diameter - 9.75"
Dana 70 axle shaft diameter - 35.8mm, 1.41", Spline count 32, ring gear diameter - 10.5"
Dana 80 axle shaft diameter - 38.1mm, 1.50", Spline count 35, ring gear diameter - 11.5"
Dana 80 axle shaft diameter - 40.6mm, 1.60", Spline count 37, ring gear diameter - 11.5
AAM 9.25 axle shaft diameter - 34.8mm, 1.37", Spline count 35, ring gear diameter - 9.25"
AAM 10.5 axle shaft diameter - ?
AAM 10.5 axle shaft diameter - 39.0mm, 1.56", Spline count 30, ring gear diameter 10.5 - for the PW
AAM 11.5 axle shaft diameter - 39.0mm, 1.56", Spline count 30, ring gear diameter - 11.5"
This is new from the AAM Axle website got today. I'm using the front left axle shaft assembly for example. It doesn't say if it's for a 2500 or 3500.
From 2003 to 2008 has 33 spline, Part # 40020734
2009 has 33 spline,Part # 40052460
2010 to 2013 has 33 spline, Part # 40072774
2014 to 2016 has 35 spline, Part # 40104193
Looks like the new Gens have a different spline count. Wonder if it because of the axle disconnect? Also There is a difference from what I found in '09 to today for the 9.25. ?????? Still can't find any info on the axle size for a standard 2500. The only difference between a 2500 and a 3500 is the spring rates for the most part. The drivetrain parts are the same.
