This was going to be my vote. If I had the money laying around I would have one of these in my truck. Until then I will leave stock. Love the way these look!

Calm yourself, it's tongue in cheek. I think I want a new bumper and want to see what everyone has or is interested in. There's tons of Ranch Hand bumper around here. If I worked in Agg or there were more freeway protests here I might consider one.

The Thuren bumper is my favorite... Or the guy with the wagon that is making bumpers now... I love the low profile, fit tight to truck bumpers... not the ones that look like Lenos chin...

His website http://www.kinzeroffroad.com/

His thread in the for sale section on this site http://forum.powerwagonregistry.org/vie ... f=6&t=4513

Not much info or pics of the bumper, but it looks to be quite nice.

I like both AEV and Aluminess. I just can't make myself spend the money on either one right now.

Somewhere he made one for a PW. But I didn't dig far enough into his instagram. These are built to order.

I like this one, just wish the front of the bumper would be a little more in line with the grill.

For the right bumper I'll remount the winch. I like the low profile nature of the OE mount but I'm not in love with putting my hands through the bumper opening. I've been considering a Mercenary and TR. I'm not sure Thuren will have his done this year so it may not be an option. I like the TR lighting mounts also.

Here, especially with bumpers, patience will truly be your friend.

1. Theuren -- 2Wags got one, took some fitting, but he is running it & it's really slick, but how much $ will the final
Production version run?
2. KinezOffRoad -- Eng. on here making his own in NM, they're a little $, but each is hand made, & only made for PW
3. AEV -- great look, but so damn $ by the time you add in all the "extras", I priced one out today on their site for estimation, & it was near $4K

For a 4th gen?

Aluminess, hands down(although I may be a bit biased...): high-clearance, lightweight, strong and the brush-guard provides additional protection. Large recessed light-holes are a plus.

Closely followed by Thuren and Mercenary off-road's offerings. Both are functionally identical: ultra high-clearance and incredibly strong.

Personally, don't see any reason to purchase AEV's front bumper, as it offers practically nothing over the stock one.

You're right; it's just as straight and flat across the bottom of the factory bumper. So it's not offering anything other than extra strength. just another AEV "Appearance" mod.

This is where I'm disappointed with RAM and the 2017 Power Wagon. They just powered coated the bumper and called it a day. But didn't bother to give it a better bumper like the Rebel.

Notice, Toyota, Ford and even Ram on the Rebel all have factory bumpers with an improved approach so you can get the front of that tire up on something quicker. Too much to ask for this on the PW too?

The Thuren bumper does not currently fit a Power Wagon nor will it hold a winch. To make the bumper fit you have to cut the shackle gussets and weld in a fairlead mount. I know Don wants to make the existing bumper PW compatible but it may be some time before it happens.
