I'm not actually going to use that switch. I bought it and then decided this is going to be much more stealth and warranty friendly. All of the wiring is complete, I had to use a little silicon to support a very small part in the fuse box so I'm just waiting for it to dry.olyelr wrote:
Well damn i almost guessed that!

Have you ever noticed that if you only have one or two garage doors that you have an extra homelink button or two? How about a remote switch programmed to the Homelink that triggers a 30A NC relay that plugs into the OE fuse port. The whole setup installs with a positive and negative nut. The relay and remote switch are attached with velcro to the side of the fuse box and the entire setup removes in two minutes.

Retired BLM Rig wrote:I snapped these pictures before I left work today. The newest schematic diagram I could find was for a 2015. It looks like the ABS ground wires are connection #G802A and it looks like it is located somewhere on the drivers side frame rail below the ABS unit or battery or fuse box.
Gee, I wonder what would happen if a guy interupted those ground wires? I wonder if a guy would have to push the start button twice to start the truck? I wonder if anything else shares that ground connection? I wonder if the ABS light would turn off by itself after it was reconnected?
Golly, if I only had a 15 or newer truck with a warranty, maybe I could figure it out.
