I ran Gold Mountain several times back when I had my H1. It's an awesome trail but it can be really hard on the trucks. I wouldn't run it without rocker panel protection.

My son-n-law just moved to San Diego (Miramar). They sold his 2012 PW, and kept the 2016 PW. The John Bull up at big bear is a sweet trail, but you will need armor to go down it. have fun and wish I was there to ride with you guys.
