I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.

Excluding everything that makes a PW a PW, it would have to be it's clean looks. '05s look like no other truck, and no nannies.

Re: What do you love about your truck?
I love everything about it except the fuel mileage...my favorite part about it is that it can be the grocery getter for my family of 6 just as easily as it can haul/tow 3 cords of firewood AND take trails that leave jeep guys scratching their heads.

What do you love about your truck?
I've never owned an "optioned up" truck in my life, but I have no regrets about getting my Laramie PW. I love that no matter where my truck takes me (and the truck has never said "no", I'm limited by my tolerance for paint and body damage), and no matter how cold/wet/tired/hungry I am, when I get back to the truck I have a comfortable climate controlled luxury interior waiting for me. Parts of my personal life have been somewhat unstable over the past year or two, and getting in this truck still puts a smile on my face. It's like my sanctuary.

Re: What do you love about your truck?
I love how nice it drives for a heavy, solid front axle truck. My suspension is still stock and it is a pleasure to take long trips in it (beyond the fuel bill that is).

Re: What do you love about your truck?
Yep, the multi purpose part of it is what i like. It can wheel, get groceries, tow, speed down the highway at 90 (or if you are Will, 125), and it does it all very well.
And the fact that there are not many around. I love having a one of a kind type vehicle.

Still have yet to see one like mine or even an power wagon optioned truck (unless they are going incognito)

I don't have it nearly as bad as Will, all the bears in my neck of the woods aren't trying to kill me! That's a good thing, because I have much bigger bears.jailor97 wrote:Ditto.olyelr wrote:Yep, the multi purpose part of it is what i like. I really like the variety of things a PW does well. My truck is my daily driver, family road-trip vehicle, rock-crawling sand-dune running toy, camping/overlanding vehicle, occasional towing/hauling rig and my 6700 lbs. sports truck with 4.56 gears and a Hemi!

Re: What do you love about your truck?
I love the fact that my wife refuses to drive it. I never find her junk in the console, or hand lotion on the steering wheel.
Re: What do you love about your truck?
That my wife refuses to ride in it cause she says its beats her to death,so we always take her car on road trips and mine don't get the miles, my 05 wagon had only 70,000 on it when I got rid of it in 15, lol and she only drives it when she has no other option but too
First wagon 05 bright white,my second wagon 15 Laramie granite crystal
Re: What do you love about your truck?
^^THIS!!! Other than the time she did drive it and manage to back into a boulder with my tailgate down....did end up with a Backwoods bumper out of the dealDucky's Dad wrote:I love the fact that my wife refuses to drive it. I never find her junk in the console, or hand lotion on the steering wheel.
Re: What do you love about your truck?
Our trucks do everything well, and off road with the BEST ! They offer towing, incredible off road capability, comfort, luxury, and our various PW "options" most can only shake their head about, and dream about. It doesn't hurt it has GREAT looks to go with the GREAT function, and comfort for the Momma bears and are not seen everywhere one goes! Always draws a crowd,,,,,,

My PW is a "Jack of all Trades." DD, offroader, camper hauler, dirt hauler, stump puller, etc. Even had it on a road course.

Versatility. Tows my second gen, does light wheeling, commuter, work truck. Subtle compared to a Raptor.

I had to buy my wife a new car to stop her from driving my new truck.Ducky's Dad wrote:I love the fact that my wife refuses to drive it. I never find her junk in the console, or hand lotion on the steering wheel.
I love the interior. The seats are just ridiculously comfortable; they blow air on my balls when it's hot and warm my ass when it's cold.

Re: What do you love about your truck?
I love how comfy it is. I love the big V8. I love that it's so well equipped for mild-to-moderate offroad stuff right from the factory. I love how well equipped even an SLT is. The sound system isn't bad. I like how well engineered the basic systems seem to be (transmission, cooling, t-case, etc)
Edit: I should add that I also *really* like that the Power Wagon is somewhat uncommon, especially if compared to the Raptor.

Re: What do you love about your truck?
Nice! I started this thread and got busy, finally looked back. I agree whole heartily with almost everything listed above except I dont have heated and cooled seats in the PW but I do in the Scat Pack so I know what you mean about cooling balls.
The fact that I can rely on the PW to do whatever I need it to do is what I love the most. If I say, "let me go get the PW" shit just got real
Oh and it's paid for which I do love very, very much!
