Sure this has been posted before but just in case...
Tried to get into the truck this AM using the FOB. Wouldn't unlock the door so pulled out the manual key jumped in, shoved the FOB into the ignition and nothing. Figured maybe if the FOB had a dead battery maybe the security code couldn't be read and wont start. Tried to pull the FOB out and nope. Turns out dead battery on truck. Jumped it and key worked fine. Just a note to others in case you run into that situation.
