Air bags?

Post by redneck1 » Tue Feb 23, 2016 8:51 pm

Hey guys I do a lot of towing with my 2013 pw and I am wanting to get some air bags to help out with the heavy loads and was wondering which bags are the best?

I don't know if they're the "best", but I've used AirLift on my last 3 trucks with no complaints or failures.
This is what I have on my '05 PW...

Take a look at Cactusred build thread. I highly recommend adding the Daystar cups if you use your PW off road.

I don't know if they'll work with AirLift. The Daystar cups have only been around for a few years now. Had the Daystar cups been around back in '05 I probably would have gone with the Firestone bags with Daystar cups. Either way, you won't be disappointed with air bags.

There is a few guys running daystar cups with a Firestone 2014 and up kit, also Carli is coming out with a long travel kit for the 2014 and up 2500s.

Load lifter 5000's and and Daystar cradles have worked well for me. Tow work trailers and equipment from time to time. Going on 2 years and still work fine.

Y'all have got me interested in air bags now, especially after I got a new tractor and its a little heavy on the tongue if I have an implement attached.

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.
