Finally got rid of...
Finally got rid of...
...the damn useless stock BFG's. Couldn't wait any longer. Replaced with Cooper ST Maxx 255/80R17. Very happy so far. Sorry for the dirt.

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.

Those coopers will be even more useless than the BFG's when they are 10 years old.
Love that tire size. Tall and skinny for the win!

Thanks guys. Like your red Leo. Couldn't find one when I bought in 2005. I'm really anxious about the snow performance, but they're guaranteed to be better than the BFG's.
I don't consider these skinny at all. They're just not fat. It seems to me when I first started buying pickups stock was 235/85R16 and that was the way it was for many years. More pounds to the ground.

I guess its all in the eye of the beer holder. They are skinny compared to what comes on today's trucks, and fat compared to what came on yesteryears trucks.longbox wrote: I don't consider these skinny at all. They're just not fat. They looks good and will perform even better. That's all that matters.

Thanks Longbox always wanted a red Wagon, stumbled upon this one up in New Hampshire one owner rig . As to snow performance I don't think you will be disappointed I have driven the truck in about 30 inches of snow on an unbroken trail. Now I did have to air down to 20psi though as I was getting crazy axle hop at 40psi which is more due to our soft long springs.. But hey our rims are designed for it so whateve haha.longbox wrote:Thanks guys. Like your red Leo. Couldn't find one when I bought in 2005.
