Hey all,

Thought I should properly introduce myself.

I recently picked up a 2015 Laramie PW. So far in loving it. I looked high and low to find a Laramie truck in this color...

Image

Best part is... it came with the white knuckle sliders Image

I was holding out on the "perfect" truck, because I wanted to match my Jeep Image

Now if only I could get more time away from work for some exploring!

'16 I got new about a year ago. nice truck other than a few minor agravations. clutch fan had to be replaced right off the bat from not disengaging correctly. new clutch still doesn't function 100%. sun roof leaked during major storm. not sure if I didn't have it closed correctly or some dirt was jammed between window seal and roof or drain tubes some how were clogged. oil leaking out of front axle breather but truck hasn't been driven for months

I live in the Pacific Northwest though I traveled a ton during a rather long stint in the Army.

I go hunting twice a year, during which I do stupid stuff with my truck. So when my 11 Duramax was spending more time in the shop than on the road I ended up here. I've had a Dakota, Durango (truck version pre 2003), a 2001 2500 Off Road, so when it came time I went back to my roots and what I knew wouldn't fail me. I spend time with my girlfriend and our bulldog. And we use our 29 foot (8500lb) travel trailer 5 times a year or so outside of hunting.

A few months back I picked up the Granite Crystal Metallic 2016 Power Wagon Laramie, fully loaded, except for the clearance lights which my GF said were "f'n ugly"...

Mods so far: Toyo RT 35/12.5R17; Magnaflow 19200; DryFlow drop in airfilter; White Knuckle rock sliders .188 DOM; BackFlip X2 Revolver (roll-up hard tonneau); Timbrens, AMP Bedstep, Mopar chrome bug shield; Weathertech floor mats, vent shades, license plate covers, mud guards; kick plate protector molded tape; stubby antenna (though I keep the 32 inch on board); I also added a full suit of wenching gear including the cordless remote.

Does this seem extreme for hunting a few times a year? For sure, but I'm known for that... never do anything you don't plan to completely overdo to epic proportions...

It really all came down to the new travel trailer at 8500 wet and 36 feet long stem to stern 10 or so times a year. I didn't need a diesel for that, a 1500 I didn't feel could do it comfortably. So what was the coolest thing I could do in a gas 2500 with the most offroad stuff I could find...

Hello all, I am a new to me owner of a 2012 Power Wagon. I love the truck and thought I would share in the Modern power Wagon world with you all.

I am very familiar with the older Power Wagons and have been learning quite a bit about the modern units. I truly eat sleep and breathe the Dodge Power

Hello all,
Just thought I would introduce myself, I have recently acquired my last new to me truck my 2012 Ram 2500 Power Wagon. I know the older Power Wagons better then the cracks in the back side of my hands, the newest generation of Power Wagons is something I have been on a quest for. Now that I have acquired one I found you all as a gear oil filled fountain of knowledge.
Thank you for having me.

Hmmm, about the fan clutch... I just started my truck this evening for the first time in about two weeks, and instantly I could hear the fan cranking away (its around 35 degrees F here)... it was so loud that I couldn't even hear the motor running hardly. I have never had this happen before. What this the type of issue you were having?

Also, I havnt had any leaking from my sun roof, but I have from the back window (think its from the slider seal area).

Hi guys.

New to the forum and just brought my 17 Power Wagon home on Monday.

I put a deposit on it as soon as I found out it was coming to the dealership in the small town I now reside in NFLD Canada.

I traded my 12 Jeep Wrangler JK and 16 Patriot for it. It's been a dream vehicle of mine for years but could never afford the price tag until now.

Only took until I was 52 to obtain my dream ride. :)

when clutch doesnt disengage it sounds like jet engine and gets louds as revs increase. rear cab leak might be the third brake light. ive read the seal goes bad and lets water in

Mine has been doing that on and off when starting up after it has sat for a while. Did it finally throw a code or did you just take it in?

Hello Everyone, my name is Nick and I'm from BC, Canada. I just purchased my dream truck. 2008' Power wagon, took me a while to decide on it since the newer models are very nice with the 6.4L and all the bells and whistles. Like any used car it needs a little maintenance but its ready to roll, Took it winter camping in deep snow and it held no problem where other trucks just simply couldn't make it. I'd love to do the moab 4wheel trip in the future once the truck is repaired and I'm more comfortable with it. :lockedandloaded:
