Hello everyone. Just picked up a 2011 PW and very excited about it. It was a previously wrecked truck but has been on the road for more than 50K miles since the accident. Truck is missing the front winch and mount, so I am going to look to pick that up. Is there an aftermarket maker or should I just go with the Mopar parts for the mount?

Regardless I am very excited about the truck.

Welcome to the forum guys. :excited:

drdblackm, about the winch. Best bet is the factory mounts and winch. If you can't find them. Then off-road bumper with winch of choice mounted in the bumper.

Sorry, my mistake. I thought there was a midyear split in 14 for some reason.
Maybe it's because some people refer to it as 4.5 Gen.

Hey Guys! Enjoying everyone's posts, especially funny pics!
Have had my 2016 PW since May this year and love it! Still wouldn't trade it for another truck on the road. The only thing I've added is steps for each door. White with decals. I like the decals even though I've read on other sites people don't care for them. Would love to join up with others and talk PW's and put them to the test. Really want to go to Moab, did so in my Toyota Tacoma to many years ago. I am in the Puget Sound area of Washington just across the water from Seattle. Keep up the good work!

Hello all,

I live in the Pacific Northwest though I traveled a ton during a rather long stint in the Army.

I go hunting twice a year, during which I do stupid stuff with my truck. So when my 11 Duramax was spending more time in the shop than on the road I ended up here. I've had a Dakota, Durango (truck version pre 2003), a 2001 2500 Off Road, so when it came time I went back to my roots and what I knew wouldn't fail me. I spend time with my girlfriend and our bulldog. And we use our 29 foot (8500lb) travel trailer 5 times a year or so outside of hunting.

A few months back I picked up the Granite Crystal Metallic 2016 Power Wagon Laramie, fully loaded, except for the clearance lights which my GF said were "f'n ugly"...

Mods so far: Toyo RT 35/12.5R17; Magnaflow 19200; DryFlow drop in airfilter; White Knuckle rock sliders .188 DOM; BackFlip X2 Revolver (roll-up hard tonneau); Timbrens, AMP Bedstep, Mopar chrome bug shield; Weathertech floor mats, vent shades, license plate covers, mud guards; kick plate protector molded tape; stubby antenna (though I keep the 32 inch on board); I also added a full suit of wenching gear including the cordless remote.

Does this seem extreme for hunting a few times a year? For sure, but I'm known for that... never do anything you don't plan to completely overdo to epic proportions...

It really all came down to the new travel trailer at 8500 wet and 36 feet long stem to stern 10 or so times a year. I didn't need a diesel for that, a 1500 I didn't feel could do it comfortably. So what was the coolest thing I could do in a gas 2500 with the most offroad stuff I could find...
2016 Granite Crystal Metallic Power Wagon Laramie, graphics delete, debadged, Thuren front and rear coils, Thuren rear swaybar links, Thuren front and rear trackbars, Traxada rear 1 inch spacers, King 3.0 (Stage 4) front and 2.5 (Stage 3) rear shocks, Boogie front bump stops, Cooper STT Pro 37x13.50R17 on XD Machette 17x9 +18 wheels, Centramatics, 5.13 gears, DOR steering brace, Thuren truss, Thuren King Steering Damper, Synergy Steering Kit, Thuren PW front bumper, Thuren rear bumper, White Knuckle rock sliders, Dethloff skid plate, Dethloff rear sway bar spacers, Purple Cranium Half Spider front and rear diff guards, Airlift 5000 Ultimate airbags with Daystar cradles, Bakflip Revolver X2 tonneau, Factor55 Ultrahook with 100ft 7/16 A.R.E. I just retired from the Army back in August. We live and travel with our PW and travel trailer. These trucks are great! I think combat arms should get one as a retirement award, goes with our mindset! Welcome!

New to Colorado and new to power wagons. The power stroke I bought in January took my wife and I on a two month road trip through 11 states covering 20k miles and threw a rod leaving Yellowstone two days before we were scheduled to arrive back in Houston. I ended up having to trade it in with a blown motor and bought a 2011 power wagon. Some friends in the Colorado Springs area sent us some gas money and gave us a place to stay. Since the $600 tow bill used all of my gas money, I pretty much got stuck here and went and got a job and bought a house. I started looking for power wagon offroad clubs in the area to make some friends and do some wheeling.

hi, I purchased a 2016 Power Wagon in October. I am located in Southeastern Pa a little south of Allentown . I have added a leer topper as well as a few other functional accessories. I am planning to keep it stock for now ,(on lease so no major changes ) . I plan to add an on board air tank and compressor, cb radio , and some auxillary reverse lights.
