If I was in the market for lights again, I'd be looking at either the KC or Vision X high wattage round LED's. It's all about the reflector - bigger is better.

You're right. That's why I want the 9.5" light on the front!

One thing that does limit me is the depth of the light assembly. Since I got the optional "animal guard" on the front of the bumper, that limits me to not much more than a light that is 4.5" to 5" deep (unless I really want it to hang off of the front, which I don't).

like I said look up GG lighting! 200-300$ for a 30-40" light bar... More lumens for the money's I'm pretty sure their lifetime warranty too! Hyperion is another good one too for the $$$.

This is good to know. What I'm working on is going to be about 4" to 4¼" in depth. I'm trying to possibly drop that down to just over 3" total.

So I want to upgrade the fogs & saw these top of line bulbs, they are rated at 35W draw, but are 55W equivalent rated:

Looks like there's a ballast module for each light, are these plug-n-play? Do you just zip tie the ballast modules somewhere inside the bumper?

Finally ordered a set of 6" KC gravity's in driving pattern, stay tuned for pics.

They will be replacing the long range Daylighter knockoffs I converted to HID I have on custom mounts behind my grill. I only have $60 into them and while they do have decent output, however the pattern is shitty.

The spot is aimed properly, the flood is another story. The patch isn't so bad in real life, but I've actually tipped it back to lessen the blinding spot on the ground. If I had it to do over, I'd probably go with two spots. I may be buying another pair for the jeep, if I do, it'll be two spots, and then move the flood to the jeep, and run the spots on the truck.

I call that "light backwash". Almost too much light. :lol: Never thought i would live to see the day when TV's were too big & too clear & aux vehicle lighting was too bright !!! LOL :lol:
That light would be perfect without the bright spot there. Looks very evenly spread otherwise.

I'll take a pic of the angle I had to tip the flood to prevent even more backwash. I agree, I never thought I'd see the day when too much lighting actually happened. Another thing I've noticed, is on the narrower country roads, the reflective signs are blinding!!

That's common - backscatter is much more pronounced, especially with a flood pattern. The driving pattern on my HID's does the same thing because of the wide flat beam they produce.

Rigid Dually Fog assembly

There was someone asking about if any one has installed the rigid dually fog light bracket. I installed the brackets and 2 sets of duallys (1 set of spot and 1 set of flood) on my 2013 and then removed and re-installed on my 2014 as well. I have been very happy with them and use them on my commute home from work which is mostly dark county roads and almost always driven after dark, at least that is what it feels like this time of year :angry: . The install was very easy and took less than an hour. I wanted to make sure they worked with the factory fog light switch so I purchased a fog light extension so I could solder the 2 connectors from the duallys to the extension and then just plug the whole assembly into the factory plug. The extension I purchased needed some extra water proofing so I put liquid electrical tape around the back of the wires going into the plastic housing. When attaching the duallys to the bracket I installed the spot on the inner part of the bracket and the floods on the outer part. I had marked my factory fog light beams on my garage door and made sure the spots where a little below the factory spots and have very even and wide disbursement.

just high beams, since the rigids are in the factory fog harness they will turn off with the high beams. Since the install I have not had a need for the high beams.
