I have no lift and am running a Thuren track bar and control arms. They do rub the splash guard at the pinch weld in the rear of the wheel well mildly when turning tight or turning with the wheel stuffed. In that third picture where the tire is at full stuff it did not rub at all driving up there. They also rub the upper control arm at almost full lock on the inside.

I am going to trim the pinch weld eventually. I knew going into this that they would do that so no biggie there. It is minor enough that I have no bothered with it for eight months. I'll get around to it when it warms up again.

So put some falken wildpeak at3w tires on last summer. Have about 6000 miles on them so far. 285/75 17. Went with that size to get a 34 inch tire. I use chains sometimes and didn’t want to have to modify the truck.
They are an awesome tire. First like them for the mountain snowflake cause I spend a lot of time on snow covered passes. Super quiet with great traction in all conditions. Living in the NW we see all the weather. Hold the road like glue. In my opinion best all terrain. Only thing with these tires is they want 65psi. Way to much. I run 50 most times on the highway and go lower when needed. Only downside is I have lost about 3/4 mile per gallon. A good trade off for such good traction. They are wearing great. All even and can’t even tell I put 6000 miles on them. No balance issues at all. Super happy. Just my 2 cents!!

No chains that day although I had them with me. Had the tires aired down pretty good. Did use the rear locker a couple times though when I was trying to get turned around.

Cant go Wrong with Toyo's I use the Extreme open Country AT's 35's (E range) on my Cummins Tow pig, and they perform awesome with stupid amounts of weight on them with very minimal wear (as compared to the other tires Ive Run) Alwys hear good things about the Toyo's too.

I’ve been really happy with my 35/12.5/17 Toyo RTs. 25k mi so far and they’re between 10/32 and 11/32 (for reference, new is 18/32). I came across a set of 5 brand new 37/12.5/17 RTs in the classifieds near me so I jumped on them. The height/width looks great, and I think they fill out the wheel wells nicely. Ride is super smooth and quiet as expected, just need to spend a little time dialing in the pressure for day to day street/highway use.

Wow those appear to be the 37’s... the 35’s must have looked like tinkertoys!

Yup, got them mounted up yesterday after work. I thought the 35's were perfect at stock height, but they were looking a bit small after installing the taller springs. The 35's are going to be put under my Ranger.

The truck looks good. Gotta love the way 37s look so proportional on the PW.

Personally I'm running 37" Nitto AT2s at 40front 35rear (cold PSI) when unloaded. Tread wear seems to be pretty good for the last 6k miles. Your results may vary.

cant wait to trash my rts quickly!....but i hear quickly and toyo dont go in the same sentence... i just wore off the raised tread surface

my 35/17s have been great for over 5k miles handle great in all conditions. wear is nice. with my experience and driving style, if i actually get to 12k miles with off road worthiness, i would be ecstatic.

ALTHOUGH, something did take a small dice size chunk out of the inside of an outside lug tread

Toyo Open Country C/T

I have over 10k miles on my 35x12.50r17 Toyo Open Country C/T's on a variety of terrain. It's time I give some feedback on them (as far as I know I'm the only person here using them).

The C/T is a studdable, 3-peak rated tire with an aggressive all terrain tread (comparable to the Duratrac tread pattern).

Good road manners on dry or wet pavement; no squirminess, pulling, hydroplaning. They are a studdable tire, but mine are not studded. They handle well on snow and ice for a non-studded tire. I put chains on them when the ice gets bad in the hilly area that I live in.

Off road, they have handled everything I've asked of them. I air down from 40 psi front/35 psi rear to around 20 psi when I'm taking them on trails. They have handled unbroken 8-10" snow, hard clean lake/river ice, frozen earth, muskeg, glacial silt, sand/rocky glacial till, and wet and dry beach sand. The tread blocks don't hold onto stones, and have been pretty durable. I have a few cuts from spinning tires, but no chunking anywhere. At low speeds, they do hold onto mud, but pull pretty well once you spin them fast enough to clear it. They aren't a mud tire, but so far I've been keeping up with rigs that are on mud tires (where the ruts aren't deep enough to high center me, but that's another issue).

They are wearing pretty evenly (rotated twice now), and I'm on track to get about 40k miles out of them.

If you need a 3-peak tire, or a "jack of all trades", Toyo C/T would be a good one to look at.

I think a 37" mud tire for summer and these 35" C/Ts for winter would be a killer combo. I can fit chains on the 35s, so I like them for a winter tire, but the extra ground clearance from a 37" and better tread cleaning in mud would be nice to have in summer.

no lift, some rub on flex and turning, example, driveway or off camber turn. perfectly acceptable, no visible wear on plastic.
