I love our Ford Excursion. Been an awesome truck except like my Dodge it sucks the gas! 2004 with 187,000 on the V-10.

My parents had a Black Excursion years ago. Looked like the Feds pulled up when they arrived. Haha
2010 with 37" hooves, controlled by numerous Thuren parts and Thuren Custom King 2.5's (Moved to a new home)

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.

I would have the wife ride in back with the infant while having the rear facing seat and keep the dog in front. That way she can tend to the baby without getting out of the front seat, the dog is away from the baby and you keep the PW till the seat goes forward facing.

That's not a bad idea... for a lot of reasons. I ended up having to pull the trigger on a different truck.

Here's the new one (I've got a lot of work to do to get It anywhere near what my PW was)

It's insane how much room it has. And with the cummins it gets great fuel mileage, too. Now I just have to start with some minor mods.

Another one bites the dust. :winchmob: Nice looking truck anyways. Is it me or do the stock tires look tiny on a crew cab?

New winch cable, Winch TPS bypass, Cardan joint grease zerk discovery. New front grille assembly. Magnesium Chloride under coating.

My little lady was joking around about me getting a minivan - until a Mega Cab showed up in the driveway. Now she loves the truck! She didn't regard the PW that way... odd. :doh:

Thanks! I am without a doubt a diesel guy. Don't get me wrong, I loved my PW, but the Cummins is an incredible motor. In the past I had a Duramax that was fairly modified (enough to beat modified C5's to 80mph), and another Cummins. The way diesels make power is a whole different world - one that I personally couldn't replace with any gas motor. Aside from that, the MPG is an improvement.

That said, this truck is definitely not nearly in the same league as a PW when it comes to being off of the pavement. I miss being able to point my full size pickup where I wanted to go and know that it would probably be easy to get it there! :winchmob:
