I don't know about you folks, but I'm EXTREMELY excited about this truck and what it has to offer!

SWEET! It clears 40" tires, too!

I knew it was coming, but it's only for the 4th Gen trucks. I'm bummed about that...

But, I do like the wheels - we have a set of the Jeep Savagres on Miss Rubi. They might be the only wheel I'd swap out the stockers for.
I'm just along for the ride...

Wish they had those fenders for a 3rd gen I would buy them today. Awesome. 40" tires is where I want to be someday.

Yeah, great news for us 4Gs...not so much for you 3G folks. I'm REALLY interested in what the suspension will hold in store. This might be the route that I take when the time comes.

BTW, they had 40" tires on a 3G before:

the bumper looks nice, but I don't see the point on a power wagon. We already have the winch mount, so that is not needed from the bumper, and their designs does nothing to enhance approach angle.

I believe theses fender flares are for a 2003-2005 Dodge Ram 1500/2500/3500, which used to be available as a "Pocket-Style" clearance cut-out from Bushwacker...no idea why the discontinued production on them.

The cut out fenders used where Ford Bushwacker's, they never actually made a set for Dodge. If you look you can see they don't actually fit correctly with the flare going over the side of the head light. I looked into doing something like that a while ago and found a guy on another forum that had started doing it. However, to get the flares to fit right he had to do significant heating and shaping of the flares and last time I checked he was still working on it. I couldn't justify the potential to destroy some very expensive flares on attempting to get them to fit.

Alright. I had seen a 6" cut-out option in 2004, tried to order from Bushwacker directly; but the sales person informed me they no longer offer them, that they discontinued them. Who's making the huge Icelandic expedition truck flares for the 3rd generation trucks? Also who makes inner fender extensions or custom inner fenders? What are solutions for protecting the wiring, fiberglass(prerunner style), etc.?

That was a PW Cummins concept truck that never materialized anything for the public to use. I forget who did the truck but it was featured in a magazine too.

Yes mercenary has 3" lift with major fender trimming. I keep thinking of cutting mine to fit 40" tires but don't want to cut into the door like he did. Only the fender but would have to cut rears also since they rub with my 35" tires NOW! Be awesome if they had the cut out pocket flares. I called Bushwhacker a year ago and they said they didn't have anything like that for 3G Dodges.

I agree. The bumper is bad ass, and I really like the wheels. I don't want 40" tires, but 35" or 37" tires wouldn't be too bad.

The Mercenary Off-Road bumper is awesome, looks too high for the stock Power Wagon winch fairlead.

As far as the fairlead area, or compatibility with the Power Wagon? Thought maybe you got "hooked-up" with one. Costs are up there, wonder if a rear bumper is in the future? Is there a door for cable view/access?

I wish. Compatibility with the wagon looks good, he said he would need to make a minor trim on one section and that they would just start doing that on future bumpers. I follow them on Facebook, and noticed they were posting pictures from Pismo, and I had to go through Pismo to get home. So I played stalker and hunted them down on the sand and we ended up talking for an hours or so. Seemed like great guys, and as soon as I can afford one (win the lotto) I will get a bumper.
