My wife just got me this book and it got me thinking- if you have any books/articles you read that would help folks who venture off road this might be a good place to list them.

Backcountry Adventures - Arizona by Peter Massey and Jeanne Wilson. They have them for other states as well.

Using GPS is great, but I like paper as a backup/reference. If were heading into one of the areas covered like SW Colorado, I'll order the specific map required. After a while you end up with a pretty good collection!
