sent from the 609 using this Tapatalk4 beta⁴ shit
I sent an email to Leif telling him what's going on. He's been a bit busy with the new house move, and his job.
In the meantime, what I did so far for all the Rausch videos, I went through and edited all our posts to make them show up.
What I found is the "http://youtu.be" URL format does not work for Tapatalk at all, but the "http://youtube.com" URL format does work.
However, the phpBB code for the "Clickable link for Tapatalk" is not being pushed to Tapatalk.
If you want, here's a solution for everyone until it gets fixed:
You don't have to do this. If you want, just post what you have, and I'll fix it for you until Leif gets this taken care of.
1. First upload your video to YouTube.
2. Then click on your user account name in the upper right corner, and choose "Video Manager."
3. You will now see a list of your videos.
4. Right click the video you want to post, and choose "Copy Shortcut."
5. Then paste that into your post. You will notice that when you copy it this way, it uses the http://youtube.com" format.
6. Highlight the URL as you normally do, and click on Video. (This will give you the browser preview when you post it so you can play it in the post).
7. Then on the next line, paste the same URL again, but DO NOT click the Video button. -Pating it this way without clicking the Video button will make it show up in Tapatalk so you can play it in Tapatalk
If you have any questions, please let me know.

Track:
https://spotwalla.com/embed.php?id=732a ... refresh=no
Used the Bubbler GPS app on a Droid RAZR HD to record the track. The track starts at the old narrow gage railroad bed to Jerome, turns south at the Yavapai Sub-Station, and heads into Martin Canyon.
Sound was omitted from the videos - I had the stereo up, and that violates the copyright provisions of YouTube. They cover the entire Martin Canyon section of the Great Western Trail. No damage, no problems, all I hit were sliders and both rear corners of the bed/bumper, and that's not the first time for those, so it's no biggy. The first video ends with a Grand Cherokee ahead of me - they turned around. That was actually the worst part of the day for me - I had to back out to a spot to let them pass me on the way back. As soon as they have uploaded I'll add them to the post.
Stopped in Jerome, AZ for lunch at the Haunted Hamburger - blew my diet all to hell... Bacon Cheese Burger and fries with an Ultimate Margarita.
Rocky section of Smiley Rock - shorter video... I was very, very impressed with the Toyo AT2's. To maintain a little diff clearance, I left them at street pressure, and they worked extremely well even at 50 PSI. I never spun a tire. Did the rocky section in 4Lo w/ the rear locker only to keep the turning ability a bit easier. The trail is kinda tight for a full size.
Use to do this route in 2 wheel drive in my '87 Toyota, the SloYota. I'd use 2Lo with the rear spool, and walk right thru.

The PW looks like it was floating over the trail. But sounds like you was dragging bottom the whole time.

Re: Power Wagon Video Thread
Got a rattle in the camera I need to cure. Only hit the sliders here and there, and the bottom of the rear bumper once. One solid thump on the d'side slider is easy to spot...RustyPW wrote:The PW looks like it was floating over the trail. But sounds like you was dragging bottom the whole time.
It definitely takes some trail spotting skills to get thru in a full size without hanging a diff up - I read one spot wrong and had to back up to take another line to clear it.

Re: Power Wagon Video Thread
Haven't seen anyone post any vids lately, so I finally got a couple of mine uploaded (all the other go pro vids help motivate me, lol)
Nothing too crazy, the mud pits were pretty pathetic and the trails were too simple so I didn't even bother taking vid of them. This is usually a big event in my area, but this time it was not prepped well due to weather and a fatal accident the happened at the motorcross track earlier in the season.

Re: Power Wagon Video Thread
So I finally got my suction cup mount for the GoPro The past few days I've really wanted to get out and at least get something with it. A few places I went today (some undeveloped subdivisons) had some officers of the law sitting in them. So, I just settled for some video of nothing fancy. I really can't wait to hit the trails and try it out.
Like I said, nothing fancy, just a little test. There is also a little rattling around. That's the muffler hitting the heat shield.
