This KRC 210X cam is primarily a low/mid range torque cam, exactly what I was looking for without spending the $400+ for a custom grind. When I picked up this cam, I wasn't sure it it would even be tunable because there has been a few guys that couldn't get the computer to like it and run decently (this cam has a tight LSA which sometimes doesn't play nice). So far my truck is running pretty strong with no real issues, plus the price I paid for this used cam I couldn't pass up.
Like 06Wagon said, find your tuner first. I started out with Sean (Hemifever), but went with David Amalong (whitelightening) and his tuning has been badass so far, and I haven't done hardly any logs with him yet.
When specing out your cam don't get hung up on peak horsepower numbers that the manufacturer's put out. If at all possible find dyno graphs and look for a lot of area under the torque curve. No fun having a cam that only makes power at 4000+rpms, has a short operating rpm range, or looses any torque in the lower rpms. These trucks need all the torque they can get, and torque is the seat of the pants grunt you feel.
Build for torque and horsepower will follow.
