alright got the steering dampner skidplate off. ( ig when i was out hunting and having fun i took alittle damage on the rocks heat and a hammer fixed this, but also noticed these what do you guys think? worth straightning out or not? new ones are out of the question at the moment and is it just the 2 bolts and they will come out? will it affect my alignment?

this isnt to bad, but....

To tell you the truth, it doesn't look that bad. If you don't have the money for control arms, at least see if you can get a front end alignment a close as you can within specs. I wouldn't go through taking it off to straighten that out.....

I like the red for the skid plate. If anything like mine it won't last, but it looks great. Mine barely fits in my garage. Maybe an inch or so from the roof and 1/2 a foot front and back total

well did some unexpected offroading this past snowstorm ..... was going to work to get my plow truck(its a 25miles drive to the shop) and i was on the hwy normally do 75 but since we had rain before the snow it was a sheet of ice, we had about an inch of snow ontop, well i was only doing about 25mph couldnt get traction in 4x4 and came underneath a bridge bam wind caught the truck and i was in the median. i was all pissed off which prolly didnt help but i was confident i would get out lol. 10min later... nothing :/ ive never used my lockers before..... but i figured if they lock the axles up it wont matter anyways im stuck haha so i flipped here in, and was surprised they locked up so fast, gave her alittle gas and she started moving forward slowly slipping and shit but finally made it out, i was so happy lol... sadly enough i was scared to use my lockers because i hear everyone always having issues and if mine did i rather not know right now lol with money being tight haha anyways long story short thank god i have a powerwagon :)

The lockers are GREAT for this situation along with so many others. About 2 weeks ago I went over to the RV storage lot to get some stuff out of the trailer and when pulling out I hit some deep, crusty snow. Was in 4 high and wasn't going anywhere. Put the truck in 4 low, locked both diffs then all I needed was some wheel speed and I slowly made my way out. The snow was so deep after I got out my tracks looked like I drove I giant 3 wheeler through the snow the way my rear diff was dragging! I should have taken a picture.
