Ok so i wanna appolgize guys, im the kid that wants all these things until he sees the price, so i will warn you i will ask alot of questions post alot of stuff and opinions but half the time it wont happen, ive been looking for rims since sept lol still havent got them, so with that being said, im thinking about lifting the PW alittle bit, wats the cheaper way to lift it? because the longarm kit(4inch i believe) was $1200 bucks lol i would buy a winch before that, but i would like to lift it about 2.5inches or something lol pros and cons about spacers?
*****reason why is a cummins pulled up next to me at orielys today lol and my fiance was in the truck lol i was inside getting headgaskets for the jeep. Well this guy got out, staring my truck up and down(cudnt tell my fiance was inside because of the 5% tint haha) well when i came back out he was cleaning his rims, i asked him wat year(05) i asked is it lifted(yea 4inch with 35s) i said oh cool (is urs lifted?) i said well this is all stock hahaha the look on his face was like wtf my truck was sitting about.5inchs taller then his lol, so now i want a lift kit so i can sit just alittle taller lol 4inch is to much at the moment for a DD

so had a good and bad day with the PW today guys, the fiance and i were going to look at an 07 rubi, well it snowed lastnight and out by our condo(new development) was really bad. came up upon a ford 1ton in the ditch all 4s were spinning so i asked if he wanted help, helped him out didnt take much lol 4hi and went got him out hes like thats not a diesel? no sir its a powerwagon with a hemi, he asked what a powerwagon was all i could say was its what just saved you butt from some towing fees lol.... then so we kept heading to the Stealership, look around and she likes it but idk i have a yj so idnt think we need another lol we have my 89yj, my 05 pw, her 01 wj(grandcherokee laredo) plus my 2010 ninja 600 the last thing i want is another payment, so idk why but the finace said well lets trade in the PW since its worth the most... i was like um are you trying to leave me haha on the way home i got rearended just alittle rear bumper damage not bad, but that is the first ever accident this beast has been in, what do people think about a rubicon compared to a sport? ive installed lockers and liftkit on my yj so is it worth the money for a rubi or would it be better for a sport then istall that stuff?

There are 2 big things I hear from the Jeep community on whether to go with a Rubicon or another model and add your own aftermarket parts:

-The Rok Trac transfer case has a 4:1 ratio which is great for rock crawling and slow, technical trails but many say it is geared too low if you do more open trail, mud or snow wheeling.
-Much like the Power Wagons all of the factory off road stuff (lockers and smart bar) is very cool, and covered under warranty, but can be finicky to operate.

Just thought I would offer up some things I hear on a regular basis. IMHO, you can't really go wrong with a Jeep. I still miss my 2000 TJ Wrangler! With only 31" tires and a 2" lift I was amazed at what I could get through!
Loving my 3/4 ton version of my old Jeep TJ!!!!!

when my yj was stock i had 31s cooper stts lol i could get threw more things in 2wd drive then half the trucks that were in 4lo haha, my yj is just a trail vehicle, we normally stick here in iowas so i dnt need the 4:1 bcuz are trails are really open some difficult but i dnt need something like that, im still stuck with the older jeeps so idk much about the new ones. this is my jeep next to my dadshaha mines the white ofcourse just for people that dnt know yjs compared to tjs
Image
just got alittle hieght on him, but even his gets threw alot jeeps are amazing,
JBM Powerwagon, do you know wat gearing the rubis have in the axles? i keep hereing different answers the sales guy couldnt even tell me today and im seeing to different ones on the interent?
