Truck is sweet! Would you mind measuring from the center of your front hub, to the bottom of your fender flare? I would like to see how much height one could expect to gain going with the Thuren 3" coils. Thanks!

I took sperate measurements one from center line of the wheel and one from the top of the upper ball joint. hope this helps.

also remember I probably have about 150lbs of additional bumpers so I guess that comes down to maybe a half inch of clearance I lost with the weight change.

They are from the supposed 3 inch "lift" coils and you gained that much?! Measuring mine, that would be almost a 3 inch lift OVER the already "higher" Power Wagon springs!

Yes, it was suppose to lift my truck approximately 3 inch from my stock height. Looking at the 4G PWs, the suspension looks like they sit lower than the 3G. Not sure, it could just look that way.

Juday, curious, what was your measurements?

Any 3G guys that still have no llift want to post some measurements as well to see to see what the stock height should be?

Well I have been enjoying my new boat which has taken up all my time. Can't wait till the weekend as I will be out once again preparing for a kingfish tournament this coming memorial day

Well, I have noticed a leak on my front axle, and wouldn't you know it my axle seal is bad on the front passanger side. Did you also know that you have to dissasemble the entire axle assy to get to that damn seal? Tis is when I wish I was still working at Valvo where I had all the special tools to do this type of work :box: Well, going to be calling dodge tomorrow to see how much this is going to cost me.

I now have a rear locker bad and a front axle seal. What is next? :poke:

That blows. My estimate was close to a$1000 when mine was leaking. They said it was better to do BOTH while you have it all torn apart. I got a Steal and it only came to just under $500, but then my insurance picked up the tab because of my deer wreck. Gl, and let us know what happens.

I measured my stock height 4G in at 24.5" from the center of the hub, to the fender flare.

So, it's 1" shorter than the stock height 3G PW and 3.25" shorter than the 3" coils from Thuren.....WOW!

Yea. you have a point, I was talking a lot about getting a boat and what we would be doing on the boat and OX must have really been listening and started to put two and two together which means less and less of me and her spending time together on the trails and more time of her sitting in a parking lot waiting for me to return from fishing. The seal must have been her crying about her nightmare coming true.

Well, I think she has realized that it is not all that bad, because anytime I do anything with the boat I do it with her, and that without her the boat would be useless as it would sit in the yard.

Danny, :patriot: I know you are always busy, so i am in no hurry for this. I am wondering if you have them, could you please list the part #'s for your suspension upgrades ? Front coils, shocks, swaybar end links & shackles. If you could, that would be GREAT. Seeing as how i want to do mine is the same as you did yours. Thanks a bunch for doing this, if you can.

That's all the stuff I have on my truck. Awesome list of parts. I will try to find some of my receipts. Took me a long time to find the Yukon kit cheap. The RCV's are the same price everywhere. Dynatrac ball joints were $599 or $699 can't remember. Got them from 8 lug.

Well after some debate I decided to go with the Thuren steering upgrade, navigation system, and new meat on the ground, and yes I stayed with the same size and make tires.

I also decided to put some upgrades on my boat, T-Top and trolling motor :cash:

I will try and get some better pics of the bumper and how it is built. I can say this... the bumpers are designed so that if I want to remove them I can :D

OK, here is the next part of my setup :D

I know what you're thinking... and this is not a permanent fix, this is something I will throw on OX when I need to make a long ride while towing my boat or anything else. The reason I did this is because with the modification of my bumper and the departure angle now a lot better, this also allows a lot of road debris to hit what ever I am pulling. The flaps mount to my hitch and can easily be removed with two nuts being removed.

Oh yea... I also had to make my own drop hitch because the longest one I could find was 8" and I needed 10"  :wtf:

I know what you're thinking... and this is not a permanent fix, this is something I will throw on OX when I need to make a long ride while towing my boat or anything else. The reason I did this is because with the modification of my bumper and the departure angle now a lot better, this also allows a lot of road debris to hit what ever I am pulling. The flaps mount to my hitch and can easily be removed with two nuts being removed.
