2017 PW tires

Post by Chrissy » Sat May 13, 2017 9:20 am

Does anyone know if you can increase the stock goodyear wrangler 33" tires to M/T 37" grabbers and not have any rubbing. I'm considering upgrading and adding another 2" of offset to widen the stance as well. Also going with M/T headlock rims with black and painted flame red to match the truck. To accommodate the height I'll be replacing the mopar sidestep with a drop down unit so I can still get in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Questions like this are better put in the general section where they will be seen. "Member builds" section is for look-what-I-did-to-my-truck threads.

Going to 37" tires on wheels with less backspace, you're probably going to have rubbing at the back of the fender wells that will require some cutting/beating/painting to clearance for.

These questions are answered directly on Thurens website under the Tech section. And this question has been discussed many times here already. I suggest using the search feature and really spending some time looking.

33's are the biggest that will git. You may as well get a lowering kit for your truck.

 that sounds risky. Might be best to go to a 265/70/17. Will never rub guaranteed :D
