Just cruising, about 35, all warmed up. Out of the blue it just started running like crap like a super bad exhaust leak, then died the first time I stopped. Was very hard to keep running but ran moderately rough at 3000rpm. Managed to drive it home about 5 minutes away. I had figured it was a crazy exhaust leak like I broke a manifold bolt. How do the cam lobe and lifter look?

Cam lobe and lifter seem fine. Pushrod seat in the lifter looks fine. Bearing feels the same as the other 7 on that side with some hand load.
