Freaking awesome Mike! I love it! You are building my prototype. I'm definitely buying Marcus's bed rack and pan/tran guard and eagerly awaiting his front and rear bumpers and rock sliders. I also need to figure out how to afford the Thuren goodies and 37s in there also. Doh!

Cool stuff, Mikey. Do you have any pics of what the bed corners look like under the plastic trim, before bolting the rack down?

Frikin sweet Mikekey.

When you say 1.5" hemi coils, are you talking about the coils that are 1.5" over the stock power wagon height or 1.5" over a regular 2500?

Also, how is the 4.10's working with the 37" mt's?

Thanks!

So with the 1.5" Hemi coils, did you have to change the front shocks to longer ones? And is it required to get a longer track bar? Forgive my ignorance, Solid front axle stuff is new to me. Lastly, are you getting any front rub. If you are are, where and what did you have to trim? Thanks!

The Thuren 1.5 Coils ->> https://www.thurenfabrication.com/produ ... s-212.html That's over a stock Power Wagon.

4.10's are fine for the most part. You notice the tires more above 7k altitude on inclines, however. Otherwise, no problems.

Nope.

Rub on front sway bar at full lock only.

No rub on the lower back corner of the front fender flares?! Crazy!

I may have skipped by it, but are you still using the factory rear coils or Thurens?

So I decided to start a VLOG about our adventures and our Power Wagon build. Just put together this first video from a trip out to Indian Springs this weekend.

Very cool video’s MikeKey.

I wish I had the knowhow to produce video’s like that. How long does it take you to whip out a few minute video like that (not including film time, just actual time puting it together)? And what program do you use?

Thanks. That was done with Final Cut Pro X - I have Premier thanks to work, but Final Cut was a lot easier to learn and just start editing. That took maybe and hour and half of me screwing around with it. Setting it to music and what not. I have just watched some youtube videos out there for ideas and I've always been self-taught. Very good at seeing and copying.

Hello MikeKey, great video, I really like what you've done with your PW and that wide open country, not a tree in sight!

Geez, that sure doesnt seem like much time to put a vid like that together. With music cutting in and out with you talking... all on que, like when the tire hits the mud puddle... impressive! I'm gonna have to start youtubing that stuff and see if I can figure it out.

Maybe I missed it, but how are you liking the 37's with the stock gearing (off road, towing, and daily driving)? Obviously 4.88's or 5.13's would be better, but is it acceptable the way it is?

It’s winter, what more do you want to know? I rotated my tires and changed my oil last weekend.

Highlight reel from our most recent VLOG of just the Power Wagon wheeling in the snow up at Stanley Lake in Stanley, Idaho, along with a recovery and my thoughts on our 37-inch Toyo Open Country MT's in the snow.
