I had planned to keep suspension stock on mine (aside from shocks eventually) but I'm definitely going to get one of these at some point. Another guy I follow on instagram (dieselfumes) is super happy with his Thuren track bar too. Says it's much more stable especially with a load in the bed.

Does anyone know if the Titan fuel cell that fits in the spare tire space will work with gas? I know it's only rated for diesel but I'm wondering if the pump will handle gas?
Have you done anymore research or got any answers on this?

I spoke to Titan a while back, after seeing how much fuel this pig used on a trip. The spare tire tank fits, you would need to either add a 2nd fuel door in the bedside, or someplace inside the bed. It's not DOT approved for gas, only diesel like all auxiliary fuel tanks apparently (had no idea. The rep was very clear when he said although it is labeled only for use with diesel, it will pump any "liquid" you fill it with.

It is all about liability & "paying the man". I checked into this in NY State. In order for it to be 100% legal in NY State, not only does it have to be DOT approved but also has to be installed by a NYS DOT approved installation center (at that time there were only 4 in NY State) and their cost they said would be a "minimum of $2000 !!! He said they were backed up 4 months wait time !!! Basically, they can charge whatever they want because they are the only game in town & they know it.

I thought that peeling up the diff covers and losing gear oil wasn't really that big of a problem and wouldn't happen to me. I changed gear oil front and rear, and the next weekend when we were in Johnson Valley I plopped the truck into a silt bed, high enough to be halfway up the driveshaft. Just moving forward and then reversing from the silt was enough to peel BOTH diff covers up. Now they both leak... And will until my next oil change.

I think the cover is a very worthy investment for that reason. In terms of protection, I'm not so worried. My front diff cover is pretty smashed in from rocks and they still didn't cause leaks or touch the ring gear. The Carli covers are a good price though.

I've debated the rear, when I get to it I'll probably buy an entire diff cover.

Autel Maxsys. I rented the computer from a member on Cummins Forum. There is a 100pg+ thread in the 4th Gen section. Instructions are on page 76. The member's SN is 4x4x4door. You'll have to get on the waiting list unless there is a member closer to you with a device. If you'd rather buy a device you can get them on Amazon for $1200.

Wow, you've been busy! I'd like to lift the front of my truck at some point but think I'm going to stick to the p0 boy overland shocks. A while back I was under the impression there'd be an optional shock for $450/pair to split the difference but haven't seen any updates on Don's page. Not in anything close to a hurry so if they aren't available for another 6 months won't matter much to me.

That price is on par with his Fox shocks. The Kings he will be coming out with will cost more than the Foxes. You could lift the truck and keep your Overlands on.

The fox shocks are $280/pair. I recall these being something different. Again, in no hurry just curious if the "something different" shocks had been released.

Sweet mount! I like the fact that it involves no drilling/cutting yet it is sturdy and ideally positioned! Nice work!!!
