Love the bumper. My son's learning to drive, and wound up pushing a good size log with it, kept the log off the front end, and no damage to the bumper at all. When mounting the winch, I bench pressed the bastard in from the bottom, grill out, the metal basket on the bottom was removed. But I didn't pull the overflow bottle out. I did pull the cable first, like you, and went with 125' of masterpull synthetic, last year when our dollar was closer to yours. I did a factor 55 flatlink, and a factor 55 1.5" radius hawse fair lead on mine.

Holy! Almost 2 years gone. Did you get a bar bent up? How's the bumper holding up? Mine's holding up great, still love it. I've had tp replace the winch socket, other than that, all still works as it should.
