well my buddy who's a licensed welder came to my other buddies shop to install the long arms today and it wasn't bad really a bigger pain to take the Carli arms out! Only issue we had was welding the support tubes in for the alien arms to a certain section of frame really did not work out well at all...:/ anything over 50-60amps and the .030 wire would punch through this first layer of frame material and honestly just turn to mush and fall on the pavement the welder was getting so pissed cause we tried everything to get a decent bead out of it and we absolutely could not with the mig so we plan on blowing it out with an specialized arc rod and then re attcthing it with a 6010 or 7018 rod something to do with the metal where the support tubes were added almost appears to have glue or a substance in between it causing the welder to just either burn through it and slag everywhere or fall apart.... Literally he was laying awsome beads down on the regular metal and the sides of the frame and when we got to the cross member portion or this rear support tube it all went to shit.... Really pissed him off we tried everything adding more gas more wire speed less wire speed higher amps less amps changing grounds and tips also tried stitching it and still did not come out well at all so he kinda just threw some weld at it for now
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1459743275.005343.jpg
such a shame because the welds on those long arm brackets are killer and it sucks to take away from them.... FML.

Btw they ride really nice tho!
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1459742945.871837.jpg
unfortunately got a pleasant surprise when I removed driver radius arm and control shock... Looks like it hasn't controlled anything for awhile lol.... Funny wasn't even leaking.... Maybe a factory defect or something? Pretty pissed I have to buy one now just to sell these effin arms....

I was telling Tim last night they feel the same if not a bit smoother truthfully. Also one thing I've noticed is they are quite a bit quieter as well as less play in the front end all together. All the Johnny joints were still good and toght in the radius arms just maybe the fact they were bolted in allowed them to move around and make noise that much more? I dunno I'm impressed so far. Hoping these stainless joints hold up better in Canada as well!

Help this Thuren fab drag link is meant for a three inch lifted truck or stock-so I can only expect so much out it with a drop pitman arm that reverses the mount position. The synergy steering looks like a straighter drag link so it should function nicely if not I will take that bitch back and buy cross over steering ImageImage
