Do! I plan on doing the carrier install first realistically would be good if I could
Just get the gears in and going there's always a lot more
Room to install a rear truss anyways even when the axles in the truck so worst case I have to do it another time. I do really like the look of the ballistic fab one. Looks pretty low profile
Just have to make some small bump stop pads for the bump stops on it I think.

Yeah, it's a serious investment man. Are you thinking to rig some kind of resistor in place of the rear locker to fool the computer? Or going to hard wire the front locker maybe?

Re: "Saggin wagon" short and sweet.
I'm thinking tricking the rear locker at least to just then the blinking lights off lol and still probably hard wire front one. I talked to pit slave and he did tel me it's possible to manipulate smart bar to continue operation with just front locker installed. I have to find time go over to kens house pull the covers off his diffs at his house which are in his garage and take some measurements.

Re: "Saggin wagon" short and sweet.
My t fittings couplers and hoses to new 5 gallon tank whenever it comes in hopefully soon.
Then just to try and trace the locker signal from the old rear axle to figure out a resistor or something to maybe trick the smart bar into letting me continue use with my front locker?

Didn't think a drive shaft could be sexy (unless it's carbon fiber of course), but that is sexy, too bad it won't get seen too much, lol.

Re: "Saggin wagon" short and sweet.
Arctec truss is a bit to long and actually expands over the bump stops and the leaf mounts well see this rate I may just install it as soon as possible and worry about trussing later as just the install is going to be a big job with lots of parts transfering.
New driveshaft seems to be either making the pinion bearings worse on the highway or it is not designed for what I ordered it for. I'm getting much louder much worse front prop shaft vibrations after the install but I am not sure if that's because the pinion bearing can't handle the extra weight of this thing or if it's just the wrong design. well find out next week I suppose. If the shaft is not going to work I will be sending it back. ASAP

NICE Contact patch!!!!! Dead on bro... Nice work... I set up my ARB's and new gears a little tighter than what was recommended from the factory/specs.. How much play on the pinion? Did you consider Chryo Treatment (cheap) on the gears? Your going to love the ARB's THey have withstood many years of full throttle/ nitrous induced/ alcohol motivated beatings on a regular basis:):):) Still going strong...

Re: "Saggin wagon" short and sweet.
haha good! And I am going to set mine up around .006" I think backlash wise. My nitro gear recommends 6-10 thousands but my friend said to maybe even bring that to .004" which I unno I think I'll be okay at .006" this was .008" when I took that picture. Just have to peel it apart set up pinion preload and drill out my arb connector and put a tube truss ontop of this diff. Just have to pick up some 1.5" .250" tube this week. And weld the axle tubes to the housing. Should be nice and easy with out being on the truck. Just have to get my driveshaft length figured out....gun45boat wrote:NICE Contact patch!!!!!
