Let's say I installed hockey pucks, what will that do to my ride quality or interior longevity?

Definitely going to transmit more vibration into the cab. The hemi idles pretty smooth so it shouldn't be too bad relative to a cummins truck but it could be irritating if you're sensitive to such things. Could you 4th gen guys just use 3rd gen body mounts?

He hasn't come up with a solid plan for the fourth gens yet... Keeps busting my balls to do one for the saggin wagon.... Well see wouldn't be that bad to tie it into my bed cage really... As it's still my daily I can't see me doing one right now....

I have been day dreaming a lot of running it in a lightly modified class tho like a small desert event.. Which I would need a cage...

You realistically should have a cage lee, if vert doesn't do a 4th gen kit soon perhaps you should just get it done locally. These trucks don't like flipping on their lids, and I get the feeling you drive like a Neanderthal on amphetamines (a great compliment btw)

a graceful Neanderthal on meth that is lol

Ya man I will be looking Into one I suppose I could ask brink fab in red deer. So you guys are just swapping your body mounts out for hockey pucks instead to reduce the body movement when it's caged? Other option I have is to take it to Chris (get vert) and have him design something

Last time someone told me "you need a truss now" I knew it and was planning on it but bent the axle before I could get to it, just saying.....

Lol ya well you just start to drive like an ass when your alone and not when your with people you assume that risk... I was actually thinking about an exo there for awhile I think it would work better for a truck like mine.... Help with the whole roll over thing all the bags would still function normally and I wouldn't need to wear a helmet in it.....

I've been too busy to work on my girl lately but yesterday I got a little time in and was able to install the ham radio under my drivers seat. There's a little crossmember between seat tracks that is perfect for mounting a radio onto. Also got the power feed ran up to the firewall bulkhead.

Haha thanks man! I have an sPod in a wrangler and it's a really well engineered and built piece.

Also got the locker/swaybar switch module relocated under the dash so my air toggles can take their place!

Aside from the gps antenna cable, all the interior wiring is buttoned up! Everything runs through the one firewall bulkhead connector. It's a deutsch hd30 8 pin rated at 25 amps per wire.

Also got the gps mounted permanently in the cubby tray in the center console. Drilled for the mounting screws and a pass through for the cables with a rubber grommet. Fits like it was made for it

Got the antenna for gps routed through firewall grommet and have the cable sheathed in split loom then covered in fireproof insultherm braided sleeve to protect from heat in the engine bay. Inside it gets the same treatment under the dash over to the center console.

Took delivery of the roll cage, it's very well done, can't wait to get it burned in. I had to take my front end apart to reclock the grease fittings on the lower ball joints. If you put them where Carli recommends the zerk is inaccessible with rcv axles. Put them exactly opposite and alls good. Front ends almost back together. Should be able to measure for driveshafts this week and be off to the fab shop soon.
