Post by 2016canadianPW » Fri Aug 14, 2015 10:02 pm

Hey guys new to the forum, ordered a 2016 power wagon my first one. I owned alot of cars prior to that. First truck was a 2014 1500 Junk. So i traded up for a power wagon. Havent got it yet or even seen it. Before it gets to me ill be running:
6 inch pro-comp stage 1 lift
Fox Resi 2.0 shocks front
Fox 2.0 Performance rear
Fox steering Damper
37s MT MTZ
17s MT sidebiter 2
Full 2016 locker bypass
Custom made 1/4 steel reinforced bumper rated at 20000lbs
Custom made Rocksliders rated at 10000lbs
Linex front/rear, box, rocksliders, and rockguarding quarters and doors
30" front n name lightbar
54" Curved Ridgid Flush windshield mount.

Im hoping ill never have to get rid of this truck. Thisll be my last kick at a dodge. Ive got high hopes!!!!

Where abouts are ya? There's a bunch of us Edmonton/ area/ Alberta. Just moved from Ontario. If you need any help with lift issues and stuff I've seen quite a few of them...

and I have corrected a ton! My trucks gone through a bunch of changes over the last two years mostly with suspension and chassis mods.

A bastardized Carli set up. Thuren coils. Carli radius arms. Boogie rated bumps and drops. Carli dominator 3" king shocks with 12" strokes. Thuren track bar. Custom leafs and Thuren shackles. Set up works okay but my leafs are too soft for the rear dominators and the tune isn't quite right for me so their coming off and I'll be going Thuren towers and Thuren shocks all four corners.

That is going to be a gigantic truck... 6" on a new PW will give you room for 40's or so... I'm running 37's on my 15PW with no lift... You may also want to call FOX and make sure that they have fixed all the bugs with the shocks... When I spoke with Don Thuren he said there were a lot of problems with running the FOX 2.0's on the new radius arm trucks... Could be fixed now but may want to make sure before you drop all that coin... Welcome and I'm looking forward to seeing the truck completed...

Thanks Guys. I built it like this cause i got a wicked trade in value on my 14 1500. Im hoping the issues with the fox shocks is fixed but 4 wheel parts is holding my 60000km warranty so itll all be covered if anything happens. I decided not to dick around with this truck, i dicked around with the 1500 and went through 3 axle kits. one maybe from abuse, but the other two where from our last badass canadian winter. Oh ya im on the far east coast in Salisbury New Brunswick. As soon as its finished ill be posting some pics. Supposed to arrive end of next week, and 4 wheel parts is gonna have it for a few days.

40s i dont think ill need them anytime. 37s cost enough and should hold up perfectly to what i need. Unless someone was to sell some maybe.

37's are good all around and a 6" lift is nice for Canadian terrain lots of rocker clearance for mud and bush runs

Dealer called me today. Should be here early next week. Then 4wheel parts will have it for 4 days. Did yas want before and afters. It wont be fully finished till 2nd week in september. My buddy told me absolutely NO trailing or mud till he puts on the bumper, rockslides and linexs it all. Im getting some excited. My first real heavy duty vehicle. :box: First real lifted rig in General. My 1500 was leveled and aside from weak ankles. It performed well. I have good hopes for the PW

Whoa whoa you must not have read the fine print when buying your power wagon. If you lift it must be either Carli or Thuren, anything else and you have a mall crawler..... lol just messing with ya. Truck looks badass. Did you buy a lift for a regular 2500? Oddly enough I couldn't find any lifts for a power wagon, but yet the picture procomp uses is actually a power wagon. If you used a regular 2500 lift, how much kiddy did you actually net over stock?

Well frig guys. I took it for a muck the other day and it wont let me upload any of the pics. 6" pro comp was the only thing they would allow a warranty, i was very skeptical on the pro comp myself. I built my truck to specifically not be a mall crawler  As for the bumper and the runners. My friend who made the bumper and IS GOING to make the rails had to take an emergency venture to Britsh Columbia for money. That being said i had the box, backrack, sides, flares and both bumpers line-x'd black. Also mounted the 54" RDS as well to windshield. This friday is my friends going away mudrun. Ill be strapping my go pro to it. Hopeully i can get some pics sized low enough to put up for your viewing pleasure. The electrical guy at 4wheelparta was unable to make a locker bypass function how he liked. So i did not get them done. I was pretty disappointed. Has the guy who does the harnesses ever figured out a 2016. Sorry im a forum newb i dont know his screen name. Seems a picture worked. This is just after i cleaned. And before the linex.

. This is the only pic it will let me upload. Take care guys. To the 2011TX who asked if it was for the 2500, i believe it was a slightly tweaked version of the 2500 6" lift Yes....that is what was ordered. Pro comp tested them before they had been shipped. Or so i was told by 4wheelparts.
