Low_Sky's Build - 2015 Power Wagon Laramie

What valving did you get? I need cold weather valving.
I got stage 2 “with a little extra rebound”. I asked to have the shocks shipped dry and I filled them myself with 7 wt Maxima, which has a vastly better viscosity index than King’s oil. Loving the stage 2 so far. With less than 20 psi in the tires the truck just floats over rocky trails.

I’m really interested to see how the Maxima does this winter. I’m hoping the feel ends up somewhere in the “Stage 3-4” territory. I’ll post up my findings.

I'm interested in your results this winter. My temps here run from high 90's in the summer to below zero in the winter.

For the terrain you deal with I’d say 37’s would be almost mandatory. And if you’re going to upsize, it would be irresponsible of you not to truss the axle as a basic safety precaution. It’s just protecting your investment after all. And why of course gears would be necessary to keep the transmission happy and maintain some semblance of fuel economy.

You should get right on that low sky, at least that’s one mans opinion

I just winch a little more and drag my little tires through stuff. What’s why we have skid plates, right?
