Hello, my name is Casey I'm new to the forum. I've had my 14' PW for approximatly a year now and love it.
I recently purchased a mig welder and my first project was fabricating a holding jig for my farm jack. I've never had any formal welding instruction so I butcherd the weld joints but they seem to have survived a recent trip to colorado this past weekend.
I did not want to drill into the bed of the truck which is what is required for most other jack mounts. I used the existing holes in the bed posts and clamped the frame to that. Let me know what you think.

Nice and tight, I like it. However, once you start drilling holes in it, you'll appreciate it more

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.

Hahaha yes what will said^^^
Awsome mod! Do you have rock rails or anything as jacking points or do you just use the hitch? I have wanted a good high lift but I think I may just end up getting a good aluminum floor jack for emergency tire changes

Personally, and I have one with me all the time in the truck, I hate'm. I'm of the opinion they are only good for recovery in specific situations where a winch won't work.

I'm just along for the ride...

Nice link.
I have ordered Whiteknuckle rails but have not received them yet. Funny I have not needed the jack for any reason other than lifting a mill I have in my garage. I purchased the tire lifting strap to change a tire if needed. And I agree these things are extremly dangerous. YouTube has some epic videos of jacking failures.
