So I recently became the owner of a large project - 2 Power Wagons - '46 WDX and a '48 B-1 along with two truck loads of parts to include 4 engines, 2 transmissions and 2 transfer cases. Moving around with the Army every couple of years is preventing me from really working on them right now but I've been making plans. I want to make one as original as I can and the other a modern version (think legacy power wagons) with a 5.9L Cummins 12V. Then I thought, would a 12V even fit??
The answer, yes! Here it is (and it's for sale): http://www.dodgepowerwagon.com/classifi ... 44wc64.php
I already wrote Doug an email and asked for pictures, videos and anything that might help me to eventually strap one of those bad boys in one of my trucks. What would be even better is if one of you guys bought this beast so I'd have access to more pictures and measurements!
Anyway, I hope to at least get one of my engines down here to get it to where it's ready to bolt into a truck. We'll see how that works out.
Here are mine:
Old Iron
Re: Old Iron
Nice! Can't wait to see the builds. Take lots of pics and I know there's a couple of forums dedicated to vintage iron that you'd be able to get lots of help on. Take a look at the off-site links page on PWR http://powerwagonregistry.org/links.php
