Actually there is a flat spot on the right side of the floor of the differential where they fit nicely. I don"t know if anyone puts them on the cover.

Got my DT ProFab rear cover yesterday. Man this thing is stupid beefy! I can see why everyone says they are going to be hard to damage, the cover itself weighs 14lbs it's so heavy duty.

And I got the Ballistic fab cover earlier, looks just as good as the DT ProFab cover. Only thing it doesn't have is a drain plug, but I guess I can live without that on the front.

Drill and tap it for a plug. Easy peasy.

Nah, I'll just leave it. I'll want to take them off to clean/inspect the locker magnets every time I change them anyway.

Just opened up my package with the bolts in it just to make sure they were all there with the plug and noticed they even give you a little Ballistic Fab key chain, lol. Pretty cool little novelty they throw in.

Does the Ballistic Fab cover have both drain & fill plugs?

Guess I'll add this in here. Did this last weekend, just plasti-dip and a little bit of painters blue tape. The pictures make it look better than it actually is, the tape liked to pull off the plasti-dip with it and ruined the edges on the lettering, just doesn't show it in the pictures. I had to take a razor and carefully cut the edges while peeling the tape off at the same time, kind of a pain. Does look good for the time and effort it took, which wasn't much. I'm planning on having my buddy paint it with some color matched red paint sometime, this is just to satisfy me until then.

Bought some black lugs and wheel locks to help take off a little of the chrome my wheel and tire combo added. I plan on blacking out the little bits off chrome and silver on there sometime aswell. We don't really have an issue with rims being stolen around where I live but I go on trips a couple times a year and it seems like times are getting worse for theft so those locks will give me peace of mind on those trips.

What's the status report / update on the Grabbers after a few months now?

Still haven't got much for info, it's not my main daily driver so I've only put 5k on them. They're still quiet, good traction in everything dry (loose/hard pack dirt, gravel, etc.) and pretty good in wet conditions as well (no mud yet though). Have only worn 1/32" in that 5k so we'll see what kinda mileage they get. Speaking of mileage they also gave me a boost in mpg after having them on for awhile. Went from averaging 12-14 @ 65mph to 15-18 @65. Overall average was boosted 1 point aswell. In town really drags everything down to the same as the 33s but still slightly better overall.

Ordered some of the new Retro Shop LED fog lights for the newer Rams last weekend, got them last week and got around to installing them earlier. Pretty straight forward as far as installing them, just pulled the factories out, popped off the plastic clips that hold them metal bracket to the light and put them on the new ones, popped everything back together and bolted them back in.

Hardest part was getting the wiring sealed the best I could with the wiring it came with. It came with spade plugs that you can plug into the factory female light plug but there's no real good way to seal it water tight. It came with heat shrink tubing, but there's no way that's going to be water tight. I ended up cutting the heat shrink tubing to the exact size it needed to fill the gap, shrinking it and wrapping it all as tight as i could with 3M electrical tape. Seemed pretty sealed and I don't plan on driving through a river anytime soon so I think it should be fine for the time being.

As most know the factory fogs aren't bad, but there's always room for improvement. These were only $200 and fit tje factory spots perfectly. The pictures don't do a good job at showing the difference since they're so bright in the foreground they wash everything out behind it in the picture. I did aim them fairly low though since my low beams fill in everything above where they are now. They have a lot more light (obviously) but they throw it out to the sides much better than the factories did by a long shot. And when I turn my Halo rings in my headlights on to white they fill in everything else that's black in front and to the sides so I'm pretty happy with everything so far. Here's some crappy night pictures of them after I got them in.

Couple pics of the front. The ones with what looks like my headlights on are actually my Halo rings on white, they throw off a good amount of light even though they are made just for looks.

Those are definitely cooler "whiter" lights, are they 4300 or 5K? Can't tell if they're actually brighter as far as measurable illumination intensity, but they look cleaner. Any code issues with the EVIC? Since the new lights are LED, did they come with any type of resistor/heat sink. A good idea to further protect the connection is to coat it in dielectric grease before using the heat shrink then tape over it. Alternatively, the best thing you can do is to solder the connection, then dielectric grease, then heat shrink.

I think they're 5500k, which is what my headlights are (not pictured) but they are a cleaner white compared to the 5500k HIDs for my headlights. Haven't had any issues with the EVIC, doesn't even notice them. The housing is made from aluminum with a heat sink built into the back of them, he may have a resistor wired into them for codes aswell, not sure. I may end up finding a weather pack female plug that matches that factory male and wire them up like that eventually.
