Black Widow seems appropriate with the color scheme and all ... and the fact that she crawls!

Okay passing through Butte and im passenger now so here are some answers!

The front axle has 5.13'a with a free spin kit and Warn hubs. No truss is needed. i put a Rockcrusher diff cover on. I didnt do too much as my plan it to replace the front with a matching AAM 11.5 or a Torque Super 40 when we get back. A decision will be made whether to 3-link it or not after seeing how it performs this next week. Basically we didnt have the time to change it anyway. Honestly if it performs well this event I will probably just beef up the one in there and put an ARB in it!

The four rock lights are JW Speaker's as are the two bumper lights. All LED's.

The winchline is an Amsteel Blue 7/16x100' with their big Cobra hook.

Butte??? Shit you were only two hours away! Hopefully you'll find yourself in my neck of the woods and I can see this beast in person.

Hopefully you get what you want out of this truck in the performance department. I look forward to watching you in the Peterson Ultimate Off Road Ass Kicker.

Your truck looks awesome!!!!!!!!! Unbelievably badass!!!!!!! Thanks for the info about the front end upgrades! Can't wait to see you putting it through its paces in UA!!!! If you don't mind my asking, you may have mentioned this but, I did not catch it- what's your front suspension setup? Also, what thickness and diameter are your rock sliders?

Good luck! Looking forward to your updates!

An quick update on the Ultimate Adventure. I cant really add too many photos as we've been asked to delay for their publication on the web and of course its tough to take pics when you are driving. The short story is HOLY SHIT did we fit this thing through some tight ass trees yesterday. Spent 14 hours at a jeeps only private property in the Sand Hills. And when I say jeep only i mean they cut little trails through the trees. Many many 20 point turns for my big truck. God damn fun though. lots of very steep hills and decents. I Was very surprised how well the truck did.

Day 1 Damage Report:
- lots of paint removed from metal work. Including on the roll-cage. However it all worked and no metal there bent.
- Mercenary front bumper took a beating but was flawless.
- front right fender got a bug hit but we just pounted it out
- rear passenger is dented at the door handle but still operational
- rock sliders got a fricken workout but didnt blink. had to winch off a turtle (hich center) once and pulled another
- lots of scratching and dragging by/through trees

Teaser pics! And this was tame for the day!

Thats Cooper Rasmussens from Diesel Power Products truck. Doing well except for his linkage. bent it on a very steep incline. Fortunately I was carrying a spare and we got it on in about an hour using two winches. We picked up another spare at a dealer a few hours back!

This is me in the Hazzard Wagon at the bottom of that hole. And yes thats how tight it was. AND FRICKEN STEEP. Shot taken from up on the bank of the trail. at the point you see there i had just finished tipping the drivers side wheels off the ground until it tipped over and hit the cage on a tree. the only way out was to drive it forward at roll angle dragging the cage across the tree that was holding the truck up. just as the cage got midway down rear door passenger front wheel climbed up stump as the tree slide off the cage taking me off roll angle. from there it took bout ten or so turns to move rearend over enough to make the 90 degree corner. climbed up and out on the gas.

Honestly i shouldnt of had the truck down there. but it all worked out.

want a report on the Nittos? when i was making the corner out i had the rear driver tire tread completely rolled over into the sidewall and torqued back. it took that no problem and we just drove 50 miles on highway all day with nothing wrong. FUCKING TOUGH ASS TIRE!!! Oh and remeber when i showed the new tread design with the outer folding lugs? IT FRICKEN WORKS! no joke. i had them aired down to 8-10 and that lug totally folds up into the tread widening the bite. i couldnt believe it!
