That makes sense. I guess in reality, the few inches you gain in radius from the axel to the outside of the tire going from 33's to 35's to 37's in negligible. I could always go with a programmer to get back any lost horsepower/torque.

Ultimately, I'm looking to gear my truck toward overland/expedition. I hunt and camp a lot and want a self contained unit to meet all my needs. I've been looking into the Four Wheel Camper Hawk unit. The only trailer I tow is a 25' dual axel for my quads. I think that ultimately 37's will be best. 4" Carli set up is on the list as well.

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.

Doing a Carli upgrade with 37's and a tuner would serve you well! Will make for a very capable off-road warrior. And YES it will still haul your trailer just fine! Less the mileage issue. BUT WHO CARES ABOUT MILEAGE!! ITS A POWER WAGON FOR CHRISTS SAKE! Bwahaha

Can't wait to see it!!

I made the mistake of looking at the Carli equipped power wagon on their blog, and I'm just itching to make mine just like that. Heck mines even white as well. Bought mine with a leveling block and 35s already, but theres just something about a 4th gen on 37s that sets it off. The trucks so big to begin with.
I've already been emailing Thuren back and forth and I can feel my wallet quivering. :cash: :cash: :cash:
