My cyber Monday specials came in yesterday. Unfortunately, it'll be a month or two before they're mounted. Too many other rats to kill and fires to put out.

I have been thinking about getting a set of Methods. Can't wait to see those mounted up.

Well, I can't afford TrailReadys yet, or PM Truck Wheels, so these will suffice till I can. Plus they look damn good on our trucks, in my humble opinion.

Oh yes, I've pulled a mini x a few times and two of our 26' scissor lifts at once, those scissor lifts are some heavy sob's...

Colibri's radio head mount reminded me that I didn't post up my dash cam and rear view camera install (Thinkware X500). I don't know that it'll help with a break in, but it's nice to have anyway. It'll definitely be nice for cheap insurance. Full motion sensor, and impact recording, in HD.

Thanks, I've always wanted a dash cam, just as cheap insurance. I found this X500, and saw that it had rear camera capabilities, as well as, a hard wire kit. I have about $380 total into it. It also has a lane departure warning system, a warning system if you get too close to the vehicle in front of you, and let's you know when the vehicle in front of you pulls forward, which is good when waiting in line at fast food drive through windows since Im usually on my phone. Lol

Just an update:

Between last night and tonight, I installed Dynatrac ball joints, Spicer U-Joints (just the two axle joints, for now), and SKF unit bearings. Spicers were a tight fit. Dynatracs were a breeze.
Also installed a Creative Fabworks steering brace. Had to ditch factory sway bar, because it won't fit with brace. (Plus it gave me an excuse to order the Thuren sway bar)
Hawk brake pads for the rear should be in this week, and a Thuren sway bar, and boogie bumps should be arriving Friday!

Awesome! Ditching the smart bar in favor of a torsion bar is one of the best things I've ever done to the truck. Those are some nice parts, your front ends gotta be tight now!

Yes, it did. It was the only place I could find that was handy, but not in the way. It rides a little loose on there, which is fine so i can shift into 4l without breaking it.

I didn't get the wobble but man what a difference those ball joints make, mine is nice and tight too. Did my own alignment and it drives better than ever now.

I need to learn more about doing a self alignment. I've glanced over Thuren's article, but haven't looked in depth.

The short of it is, all you adjust is the toe and the caster. The camber is nonadjustable. Set the toe at zero and the caster cams at 12 o'clock, then center the steering wheel and call it good.

It seems that the top of my passenger side tire leans out more, tire looks tilted out, is that something an alignment will fix?
