Re: New guy
Not sure on the plans for the truck,so far I changed the wheels, put on a truxedo lo pro qt tonneau cover. I have n-fab wheel to wheel six step nerf bars ordered. Will drive it this winter and then either level or lift. What's the best and cheapest way to level this truck which doesn't make ride quality suffer.

Re: New guy
Daystar makes a 1" spacer that will level the truck, have no effect on the ride, and it's cheap. Take a look at the Cactus Red mod thread - the install is detailed in there somewhere.

Welcome...and lots of luck with the pw...
Re: New guy
Thanks for the welcome. I'll check the day stars out. As of now the truck sits high enough but would like it level. But like anything I own it will get altered

Re: New guy
Yes it will work but will not be optimal for the best ride. That's why mine isn't lifted yet. Cost some serious money to jump up to 37" tires or bigger. I just fixed all the weak points first and have replaced pretty much everything that turns into a problem on these trucks. Now saving for my suspension. Pretty sure I'm going with a Pure Performance Chase set up to clear my big tires.

Re: New guy
I got Thuren control arms and Carli coils and track bar. Just need to put them on. Watch my build thread for pics before and after. If you want Thuren arms order them now and you might have them in 3 months.

Carl Scott: Black 2012 PW 35/12.50/17 Nitto Mud Grappler. Thuren control arms. Carli 3" Hmei coils. Carli Track bar. Magnaflow dual inlet/single outlet muffler. Front window tint. Clear Bra. Cold air intake. Hard wired lockers. All options but leather and dual climate
Re: New guy
Thuren all the way, Brian will give you a better ride and more flex. It cost me $2K to do the suspension and let me tell you it was the best $2K I have ever spentScottWagon1 wrote:I got Thuren control arms and Carli coils and track bar. Just need to put them on. Re: New guy
Update, we'll I ordered carli control arms, springs, track bar and 5100 bilstein shocks last week will be installing next weekend. Will also be putting on Bridgestone revo 315 70 17 tires can't wait.
Re: New guy
We'll got everything installed last Friday. It went very smooth didn't even have to cut the upper control arm bolts. Ride is amazing really smoothed everything out. Only thing is the front sits higher than the back now? Ordered the Thuren rear shackels this morning, oh we'll more money does it ever end. Also with the 315 70 15 tires my speedo is only off by 2 mph at 60

Re: New guy
Synergy Suspension sells a 1" rear shackle for $150 I have one on my truck so unless you are planning on a 6" or greater lift later the Thuren shackle with it's 3 height settings is not necessary.

Re: New guy
I thought the thuren shackle has 0 lift setting and a 3/4" and a 1 3/4". The thuren shackles have been ordered but I'll check out the synergy also. Thanks
Re: New guy
We'll I've been looking at this truck for the last week and can't believe how much higher it sits in the front. Did some digging and found out they sent me diesel coils. Notice the wheel is not centered in the wheel well, truck sits 1 1/4 higher in the front. Also have some driveline noise from the front above 40mph. I guess I'll be putting new coils in
Re: New guy
You know, i have been looking at those super sticky tires lately too !!! I just did not realize how much technology has improved in the last few months. Those MUST be the SUPER STICKY compound !!!
