Thanks!
I think it will end up looking like an undercover cop truck by the time I'm done. Haha

The only hitch to my free shipping is I have to drive 20 miles south to Noonan to pick it up in North Dakota. Thanks to NAFTA I only have to pay tax. (50 bucks) when I cross the border

In the one I pulled out I am quite impressed with the quality. I will be ordering my Hankook Dynapro MTs in a week and then get these installed in March.

In my search and reading 20-30 different threads on these tires on everything from jeeps to 1 ton chevys, that is the first negative I have come across.Countryman93 wrote:my hankook mts suck when they get down to half to 1/4 tread I broke belts in 2 of my 4 tires. I will never run them again

They might be OK on a heavier truck but a friend had some 35s on a light jeep and they were terrible offroad on it. They also seem to be selling a knock off with the exact same tread under the Pinnacle brand name on Kijiji around here.wingerak92 wrote:In my search and reading 20-30 different threads on these tires on everything from jeeps to 1 ton chevys, that is the first negative I have come across.Countryman93 wrote:my hankook mts suck when they get down to half to 1/4 tread I broke belts in 2 of my 4 tires. Re: Wingerak92's Sagebrush Wagon
I'm looking forward to seeing the new wheels on your truck. I'm kind of waiting on AEV to see if/when they release their wheels, and how much they are. I think this setup will look slick on your truck.

I'm going to make the appointment for March 14th so pics will follow.04Ram2500Hemi wrote:I'm looking forward to seeing the new wheels on your truck. I'm kind of waiting on AEV to see if/when they release their wheels, and how much they are. I think this setup will look slick on your truck.
I can't wait either! I looked at those AEV ones that are on the site, and these look like a slightly less fancy version.
I think I went with enough offset to counteract the 12.50" wide tires.
I am also looking at getting a set of these to help prevent spray:

(If you can't tell I really like summit racing)
if anyone has ideas for stock looking ones with more coverage, throw them out there!

Re: Wingerak92's Sagebrush Wagon
I had the Bushwacker Extenda Flares on my 2004 Ram and I really liked those. I even had them sprayed with Line-X to match the rockers better (I didn't do that this time just to be a little different).wingerak92 wrote:I'm going to make the appointment for March 14th so pics will follow.04Ram2500Hemi wrote:I'm looking forward to seeing the new wheels on your truck. Re: Wingerak92's Sagebrush Wagon
Just had a follow up chat with the guy in my condo building who has a 2012 Ram 2500 CTD with the Hankooks and he has over 40,000km on them and very minimal wear! Might get them installed sooner! He said they handled well all winter for him!
EDIT: Did a quick calculation for the mods I want done to my truck.... about $18,000 still to do... Sure glad I am getting this over with young! Haha

Re: Wingerak92's Sagebrush Wagon
So, after some quick rough measurements, with the stock flares I would barely cover the additional 2.1 inches of tire sticking out, so if I went with the Bushwacker Extend-a-flare I would be covered with an almost stock look.
Re: Wingerak92's Sagebrush Wagon
A little off topic but I thought I should share as there are quite a few of us who don't like any of the bumper choices out there for our trucks.fbenross wrote:Nothing personal...But I haven't seen an after market front bumper that looks as good OR has better approach angle than the stock bumper..been here since 2006..the only one I like (if I had to) is the Aluminess - cuz it isn't a battle ship anchor.
Mercenary Offroad Custom Front Bumper is the only bumper I have seen that looks decent and has good clearance. But at $2800 it is a tough sell for most of us. They will also need a PW to adapt it to our smart bar and fairlead location.

I like my big brush guards haha
On another note, turns out the tire guy here in Estevan knows the tire guy I was using back in Dawson Creek where I grew up and because of that knocked $400 off my tires for me!
