FYI for my long arm kit I had to remove my skids for my t case anyways! Here's some pics I just snapped sorry their shit! Lol

Was there no way to salvage the skid? Cut it back to fit? High centering there would suck. Just wondering.

I'm more concerned with other places for the skis the cross member is very stout and the factory skid only extends the cross member by a few inches. I kept all the other skids and modified all of them to work with the additional lift which I see most guys don't do if their making a mall crawler lol

Got my new Thuren soft coils in yesterday. Got my overloads removed from the bds glide 6" leaf springs set my Thuren shackles to maximum lift to level the truck. I'm sitting at 48" to the bottom of the flare at the front and 48 1/4" to the bottom of the flare at the rear of the truck now. Pretty much Gained 1.0" of lift at least with the diesel coils and 1 1/4" in the rear with the shackles but wow the ride is amazing. The Thuren coils soak up the smaller bumps at slower speeds and the bilstein acv's soak up huge hits the valving gets pushed through when driving over really rough terrain but doesn't bottom out on some pretty big hits haven't caught air yet but getting close lol truck looks really nice with the leveled stance now and the added height

Just modded the skid plates alittle better and tucked them closer to the rear driveshaft at full droop so I won't be hanging up as much as it did when it was hanging down another 4". Also finally fixed my exhaust leak from the stainless clamps lol I hate exhaust leaks

As I mentioned above I modded the skids up a bit ofcourse being only one year old the bolts under the t case for the skid bars had to seize and snap off in there I thought about drilling them out but since I already had the batt disconnected and the welder out I figured eff it I'll just weld some studs on it saved me from drilling through the 1/2" solid steal I used for the connector under under the driveshaft. So I welded two bolts one to the 1/2" steal bar and the other to the trans cross member to mount the skid bars as I see them as pretty useful and if I didn't have them I would need them lol plus they add rigidity to eachother by being connected. I also fixed my exhaust as I needed to lower it to clear the extended travel of the new shocks and the added height etc so I used two 4" 2.5" ID clamps however they were a metric size I believe so they didn't seal as well as they could have so I removed them again cleaned everything and used a high temp tape to take up some of the space and seal the system completely! Now it's ok. I also cut my exhaust tip down to clear the rear leafs and their added height with the Thuren shackles. Also I had time to install my Thuren sticker. It's 30 degrees c here today so installing the sticker was a bad idea hense why it looks like shit lol I tried to move it once after I installed half of it to re centre and with the heat it literally stretched one inch lol. Whatever it's going to be buddy anyways. I tested the truck out again last night and made my fiancé try it. I'm pretty sure we caught air by accident and the trucks bump stops were Deffinately found however the hit and landing was smooth as silk I love these shocks their handling everything great!

Here's a video of the truck at ragland road today. This is about 40mph and I was hitting the bump stops quite a bit all day but the ride was so smooth in the spots I thought were going to be really bad!

I tried editing some footage from my GoPro with that Cineform on my laptop and it wouldn't edit it. I need a better video/graphics card and the Toshiba laptop I have doesn't have an upgradable card. I was a little upset when I found that out. You may be having the same problem.

Digging the stance of this set up!

Rear leafs are flexing well with the overloads out

Front end is going to need some real bump stops soon soon. May try and fab my bds ones to work with a dysko style bump or boogie bump
