Re: 04Ram2500Hemi's 2012 Power Wagon
Sweet rig.
1. Where did you get the NavTV hack code for your radio? Do you save it to a CDR & load it into the disk player ?
2. I want to add the front camera for getting into hunting spots, any hints on how you wired it/what did you tie into?
3. Also which exact rear Vision lights did you use in the rear? Are they drilled/mounted into the bumper or are they a hitch plug in?

Re: 04Ram2500Hemi's 2012 Power Wagon
I asked him the same question a few weeks ago before I had mine done (he also gave me the idea). I removed mine and everything from them to get them sprayed. They have to fully spray the grille front and back to "encase" the plastic or it won't stick. Then they have to sand blast the chrome to get it to stick to the bumper. I think you can have them only do the front side, but you might as well do the whole thing while you're at it just to make it a little tougher and stronger. But regardless I think you have to remove them to have it done.14PowerWaggy wrote:Line X looks great! Dumb question, I'm sure, but what all was involved with doing the bumpers and grill? Did you have to take them all off and just take the parts to them? Or did they do it while on the truck?04Ram2500Hemi wrote:I put these up on Dodge Talk and the "What have you done lately thread" but I thought I'd throw these up here too. Had the front/rear bumpers coated with Line-X as well as the grill. Added a second row of LED lights behind the grill and then added an LED light to the other side of the receiver hitch.

They took the bumpers and the grill off for me and sprayed them. Seems to me it was around $250 for each bumper and then about $200 for my front grill. Worth every penny to me.14PowerWaggy wrote:Line X looks great! Dumb question, I'm sure, but what all was involved with doing the bumpers and grill? Glad I can help. It's a lot easier helping people find way's to spend their money rather than spending my own money- LOL!14PowerWaggy wrote:I asked him the same question a few weeks ago before I had mine done (he also gave me the idea). Re: 04Ram2500Hemi's 2012 Power Wagon
04RAM--- Did you also say in addition to the grill and front/rear bumpers, you had the rocker panels Line-X coated as well? If so, do you remember how much just the rocker panels cost to coat, and did they just tape off the rest of the truck and spray it right on the truck, or did they have to remove body panel? I want the rocker panels sprayed to match the rock sliders I'll eventually get, but not ready to do the grill/bumpers yet.

Re: 04Ram2500Hemi's 2012 Power Wagon
I've had a lot sprayed on my truck- Rockers, Rock Rails, Bumpers, and Front Grill. To do the rockers they took off the rear bumper and then actually prepped the truck like they were going to paint it. I think my rockers were around $1,000 but it's been a while. After one hunting season the black paint on the rockers was starting to chip so it was kind of a no brainer for me. I had Line-X on the rockers of my 2004 Ram HD Hemi and when I traded it in after 8 years it still looked good.adeluca73 wrote:04RAM--- Did you also say in addition to the grill and front/rear bumpers, you had the rocker panels Line-X coated as well? Could do it yourself to adeluca :p just hurts the soul the first time you take a cleaning pad to the side of your truck ! (To scuff it up makes the bedliner stick well. The bedliner I used was from duplicolor I got a gallon for 90$ on sale from 120$ I used literally 1/8th of a gallon to do my rockers up about 14"

Re: 04Ram2500Hemi's 2012 Power Wagon
Well I decided I hated my backup lights that I added to each side of the receiver hitch, and after seeing this on Dodge Talk I figured it was a good solution. I need to get some night shots, but man these are bright!

As of today I've had my Power Wagon three years. I always like to track my miles for the year and the total miles, so here's the stats on the truck.

Re: 04Ram2500Hemi's 2012 Power Wagon
The sad thing is my truck is still rolling on stock suspension and tires. I'm waiting until I hit 30,000 miles and these crappy ass BFG's are gone. I think I'll end up going with some Toyo Open Country A/T II's in a 285/75/17 (34x11.50). A little bigger than stock, but nothing that will require a suspension change. If the new Toyo Open Country R/T came in a 285/75 I'd think about them, but between the better warranty and slightly larger size, the A/T II wins, and I really like them in the "Extreme" pattern.gun45boat wrote:10.9mpg is not bad considering what you have done to your rig... When I went to 35" Yokohama AT2 I saw a 0.5 > 1.0 mpg increase. I lost most if not all of that with the Toyo AT2 tires though.
