Post by 04Ram2500Hemi » Mon Jun 04, 2012 3:29 pm

I don't have any great pictures on my work computer but here's a general idea of things I've done. I've got a few more things on the list for down the road, but for now I'm calling it good.

Truxedo Deuce Bed Cover with Bed Lights, Black Line-X Rocker Panel, Custom Built Rock Rails Sprayed with Line-X, Husky Mud Flaps, Husky Floor Mats, VisionX Xmitter Low Pro Prime XP LED Light Bar, Vision X LED Light on Rear Bumper, Heated Seats

LOOKS GREAT!

Who built your sliders? Those look stout enough for a Power Wagon
I'm just along for the ride...

Thanks- I'm still learning more and more about this truck.

As far as the Rock Sliders go- I had them built here in town by a shop called Blue Ribbon Auto Body.

Nice set up! I wish I would have seen a cover like yours---very useful for accessing tool kit. How do you like the led aux lights? I have my truck all wired for them, just trying to decide which ones to put behind the grill. If you don't mind me asking, what are they worth?
2007PW, black, quad cab, G56 6spd, heated leather, sunroof, dual zone climate, Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ (315/70/17), Locker Bypass, TPS Bypass, Lund tonneau, Maple Offroad sliders, wheel wheel liners, K&N filter, bedliner, PIAA headlights, PIAA foglights, 24" LED lightbar behind grill, Carli Diff guard, Dodge Off Road steering brace, Carli High Clearance Control Arms, Carli Trac Bar, Bilstein 5100 shocks, Carli ball joints, updated "T" style linkage, Odyssy battery, recovery gear, Studded Goodyear Duratrack 315/70/17 for winter

The Truxedo Deuce is so far my favorite bed cover. Being able to get into the tool box without having to roll the whole cover back is really nice. As far as my lights behind the grill go I think they were around $700 but I can't remember for sure. I need to get some good night pictures because they are pretty darn bright. I had Hella 500's behind the grill of my 04 Ram Hemi and they were less than impressive.

I think the LED's are going to be my next purchase. I will have to wait a couple months though----my wife is still scratching her head over the $400 worth of Royal Purple oils I bought two weeks ago. LOL

Wives just don't understand. I'm trying to convince my wife front/rear Road Armor bumpers coated in Line-X are a good idea but she see's it differently.

The bed lights are really nice. I didn't think I'd use them as much as I do, but I really like them. As far as the bumpers go- I still don't think my wife will buy that excuse. She knows me too well.

Had to put the truck to work a little this weekend. It wasn't real hard work, but getting the boat out of storage is always a good feeling.

I put these up on Dodge Talk and the "What have you done lately thread" but I thought I'd throw these up here too. Had the front/rear bumpers coated with Line-X as well as the grill. Added a second row of LED lights behind the grill and then added an LED light to the other side of the receiver hitch.

I had to get rid of the chrome because of the crap they put on the roads in the winter. I had surface rust on both bumpers with less than 12,000 miles and only two winters. I figured this was less expensive than off road bumpers for now.

In looking at doing the same thing for the same reason. After 68,000km over only 2 winters I have to do some serious polishing on both my bumpers this spring to get rid of all the rust spots showing up.

ya totally man, deffinately less expensive plus it looks great. and the power wagon factory bumper is clean and functional and flows with the truck a lot better then a pusher would.

Honestly they work pretty good. They would be a pinch brighter if they were not behind the grill, but I didn't want to do a light bar on the front of the truck. You just need to research on what will work best for you. These are some pic's I posted on DT, but they didn't come out very good. However, it does give you an idea of how they work: http://www.dodgetalk.com/forums/showpos ... tcount=245

They were kind of in the middle price wise. They weren't as expensive as say Rigid, but they were not a Wal-Mart special either. I don't have the receipt in front of me (I'm at work), but I'll try to remember to look them up when I get home.

Looks like each bar was $375, and I have four of them.

They aren't the cheapest route by any means, but I really wanted to do something different. I also didn't want a light bar or an off road bumper just yet, so this was the best way for me to go. I've been pretty happy with the output, but you might want to go a different route on your truck. I'll be the first to admit I have the most gently used Power Wagon on the forum, but it's nice to know that when it's time to work the truck will do everything I need it to do.
