Mike I'm looking forward to checking out that Kinzer bumper.
I definitely have to make it next year!!! I'll be watching this thread for pics!!!!

Headed out first thing in the morning. Hope to be at Yellow Circle by late afternoon.

Question - I recently upsized to D-rated 35's (50psi max)... what pressure are y'all airing down to with something like that?

TIA!

I actually towed at Ram's specs. 65 rear 60 front. @aearles and I were running 35psi yesterday. And I'll probably run around on that for awhile. I've gone as low as 18psi for some trails. It depends on the amount of rocks.

It's kind of hard dumping photos on a forum that doesn't resize images. I'll be posting albums daily on FB and regularly as stuff happens on IG.

Main IG account for the event:

Hashtag for the event:

Facebook Page for the event

I just dumped some of yesterdays photos on there. No videos yet.

Aaron and I coordinated a dropbox folder for everyone attending to download the high-resolution images and share photos we take. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/8tr8oaad5ht7 ... VDH7a?dl=0

If you have dropbox and are coming, PM one of us to get a share link, this way the photos can download to your dropbox automatically.

Nothing serious, everyone is okay and no one broke down. Golden Spike was a stretch for our trucks and probably impossible to complete without rocker damage without sliders. It took A LOT of spotting and slow moving to get to the 10 mile mark (10 hours), at which point it was almost sunset and we ran into some really large ledges that were not going to be doable for those without sliders. Most of the group decided to setup camp on the trail for the night. A few of us decided to scout ahead and complete Golden Spike and Gold Bar Rim in the dark to see if we could stack rocks and get the group through instead of sending them back out via Poison Soider but it just was not feasible. We got out at 2am last night, 18 hours on the trail, it took 7 hours to get from where the group setup camp to complete GBR and get back out to the highway. The rest of the group is working their way back, but it's a very long drive and not much cell service, they should be back to camp/town this afternoon.

Rock Sliders are truly invaluable for most of the trails there!

Yep, I spent most of the day on mine... lol

My bumper is mangled to shit too, time to figure out what I'm going to do about that. But I got across golden crack.. and that's what matters... right!? :D

We made better time out than in. We found a short cut that connected trails. Got off the trail at 12:40 this afternoon.

No runs today. But tomorrow Top of The World.

I have a literal ton of photos.
