I don't think you'll have a problem finding a spot to stay.

Is there a current list of people coming?

I'll only be able to be there the weekend 6,7,8.

We're heading to Moab this weekend. Depending on whether or not White Knuckle calls by the end of next week will determine if we are there for one or two weeks, possibly longer. We'll either be staying at Slick Rock, Kens Lake or boondocking out by Arches. We both technically work during the day, but our schedules are still flexible. Would be cool to try to meet up with folks and hit some trails. The whole reason we are going to Moab.

Bill, if you need a place to spend the night at going either way. I'm just off off RT70 in western Pa. By RT43 Toll. Or we can meet up for lunch/dinner?

We're leaving here this Sat or Sun. I'm really looking forward to taking the new truck back here:

I think if I ever give this life up I might settle in Moab. We've been 3 times now since we started this life and it's only been a year. :) Moab is great.

I'll be coming from North Jersey by Giants stadium. I think I'm leaving either Saturday around 3pm or Sunday morning.

Give you guys from the east coast some idea. From Pittsburgh on RT 70 to Moab. Is 1,800 miles. Takes me 2 to 2.5 days. Depends if I'm by myself, or the wife is with me. First stop for the night is at Boonesville AR. Second stop is in Vail Co. From Pittsburgh to Denver is about 1,400 miles. Have family there. I make that trip in 2 days.

Bill, you have a PM. Got your's.

Don't ever support anything in the whole McStiffs lot. They are very anti off road and support trail closures. And are huge supporters of the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance(SUWA) they are doing a lot of harm to our community and don't support equal access to public lands.

Got to remember that. When I was out there with Leif, Carlos, Pitslave, and the others. We always hit McStiff's for first night dinner. Park in the Welcome Center parking lot. It's a lot easier to park then in that crowded lot at McStiff's. :(

Yeah, that place has gone so wrong on what's good for the off road community that even the mice started to eat out.

Any trail talk yet?? Who wants to run what??
I'll be leaving the jeep at home this time and have the stock PW.

It looks like I'll be able to be there the 6th and 7th. I will be having a family campout, so I will only be able to go on one or two trails.

Poison Spider Mesa and Hell's Revenge are of interest. We tried doing a small section of Poison Spider.

Moab Rim also looks really interesting: http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=68

With our previous rig we did low end easy stuff. While I don't want body damage or to bounce off rocks, I am up for anything that will improve my skill.

I have 2 questions...
1-Where do we meet up in the mornings?
2-At what time do we meet up in the mornings?

If I know this, then I won't have to drive around hoping to spot another Power Wagon and chase him/her down to ask if they're part of the group.lol

Thanks

Moab rim has a couple gnarly spots I don't think a power wagon would be too happy in.

PS is fun as well as Hells. Both easily done with our trucks.

Strike ravine would be good, it has some old mines and cuts though AreaBfe. (Lots of amazing trails at BFE for buggies and such)

Meeting in the City Market parking lot is always easy to do. It's right in town and central for everyone.

Another trail possibly is Steel Bender. There's a couple hairy spots but I think the trucks can do it.

City Market sounds good.
What would be a good time to meet?
